LESSON 3: A6 A.Objectives:

1 Aims:

- Read the text and understand about schools in the USA

- Talk about some differences between schools in the USA and schools in Viet Nam

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to read the text for details and compare an American school with a Vietnamese school

2 Practice skill:

- further pracice reading and writing skill

3 The knowledge needs to get: + Standard knowledge:

Read the text and understand about schools in the USA, correct the false sentences Summarize the main contents of the text through the correct sentences

Give out differrences with schools in Viet Nam

+ Advanced knowledge: Write a passage about schools in Viet Nam ( 5-10 sentences) 4 Basic language:

- Vocabulary: school uniform, a 20- minute break, cafeteria,snacks, popular, baseball, football, to wear, to sell

- Structure: There is / are no

two twenty minute breaks the other

the most popular after class activities

5 Attitude:

- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to practice reading for details
