Taupaulin steet - TIR Code Situation : For delivery to shipper, redelivery from consignee and for delivery for empty positioning 3. Required condition  :  All removable components must be fitted in the correct position in correct manner a All roof bows should be fitted on roof bow bracket b Tarpaulin sheet must be fitted in place and all grommets and TIR code rings (eyelets) must be engaged c TIR code must run through all eyelets and both cable end pieces must be placed in the cable runner on the container Purpose a To avoid unnecessary dispute with our customer about the container condition and the liability of damage b To minimize the damage on these removable parts on top and floor interior ( Example ) - If Depot facility keep open top container with tarp fitted without roof bow fitted, roof tarp Will collect rain water on top and the accumulated weight of water will make tarp damage around grommet or top side rail which has not been designed to withstand such excessive weight ☞ Proper drainage should be maintained by installing the roof bows in position - If tarp sheet has a leaking damage, the open top container should be kept not on the top of the stacking to avoid accumulated water inside of the container Unexpected heavy weight of open top container due to collected water may cause dangerous situation when the container lifted by normal handling equipment for empty containers and collected water on the floor accelerates W&T damage on floor boards Notice a When depot keeps open top container either in damaged or sound condition in their premises, they have to pay proper attention to avoid any further risk of additional damage b Recently, we have found lots empty-positioned open with the broken TIR code due to improper setting of code running outside of corner fittings Pls pay keen attention to TIR code if it is run in right manner 32
