Aims & objectives - Practice pronouncing 2 consonants /ʧ/ & /ʤ/ - Review the use of infinitive with to and infinitive without to -By the end of the lesson the lesson Ss will be able to: + Pronounce 2 consonants /ʧ/ & /ʤ/ correctly in words as well as in the statements. + Apply to use infinitive with to and infinitive without to in making sentences B. Content 1. Skill: Speaking 2. Grammar: Infinitive with to and infinitive without to C.Teaching aids - Textbook, chalk, and blackboard D. Procedures: Steps Times Teacher’ activities Students’ activities Class organization 1’ The absence of 11B2: - Monitor gives number of the class Warm up 5’ - Writes 2 words Teacher Enjoy - Calls 2 Ss to read them - Asks the class to give their comments (If their friends pronounce two words correctly of not) - Reads loud them and writes their transcription in board to lead in new lesson. Using after words: Who, what, where, how…etc. Eg: Could you tell me how to get to the cinema? - I know what to do. d. Using in the phrases of word with something, nothing, nowhere, anybody. Eg: Have something to eat. He’s got nothing to do. e. Standing after verbs: decide, try, - Write in their notebooks 2 Grammar 28’ manage, want, hope, promise, choose, forget, need, help…etc. * Infinitive without to a.
