Presentation *Form: Negative: S + Ved +O. Positive: S + did + not + V +O. Question: Did + S +V +O? Yes, S+ did. No, S+ didn’t. Question words: WH + did +S +V +O? Eg: I stayed at a hotel. I didn’t stay at a hotel. Did you stay at a hotel? Yes, I did. Where did you stay? * Use: Use the simple past to talk about finished actions in the past. *Verbs: - Add “ed” - Irregular verbs. * Note: To be: were/was - Think and write the form of the present continuous tense - Write on the board. - Give example. 3.
