BE–119 BODY ELECTRICAL – WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM BE2GM–01 REGISTRATION PROCEDURE HOW TO CODE REGISTRATION NOTICE: When replacing the theft deterrent ECU or transmitter, registration of recognition code is necessary because they are provided as a single components (a) Select the operation mode S Add mode S Rewrite mode S Prohibition mode S Confirmation mode HINT: S The ”Add mode” is for adding new recognition codes while retaining the already registered codes This mode is used when the transmitter is added When the number of the registered codes exceeds codes, the previously registered codes will be erased in order, staring from the first registered code S The ”Rewrite mode” is for erasing all the registered codes and registering newly recognized codes only This mode is used when the transmitter or the door control receiver is replaced S The ”Prohibition mode” is for erasing all the registered codes to prohibit the wireless door lock operation This mode is used when the transmitter is lost S The ”Confirmation mode” is for confirming the number of recognition codes that are registered This mode is used to check the number of registered codes when new codes are added to the registration, etc (b) Follow the chart on the following page to register the transmitter recognition code to the theft deterrent ECU HINT: S When procedure is outside the specification, the registration operation is cancelled S Maximum of recognition codes can be registered BE–120 BODY ELECTRICAL (c) – WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM By LEXUS Hand–Held Tester START The vehicle should be in the following conditions: D Ignition switch is ON Hand–held tester operation: Select ”L/C 100” from the menu Select ”TDS” (Theft Deterrent System) Select ”WIRELESS REGISTRATION” After the above operations, proceed to the succeeding operations according to the prompts on the tester screen Transmitter SW Operation: HINT: Perform this operation during the countdown screen Press both lock and unlock SW (Between and 1.5 sec.) Within sec Press any one of SW (For more than sec.) This wireless buzzer sounds when the registration is completed normally HINT: Select the next step on the tester screen Continue the registration Register other transmitters? Or Finish the registration? Perform this operation to erase transponder key registration from the transponder key ECU S Delete all other master and sub key codes leaving the master key code to use the operation When using the key which was used before deletion, it is necessary to register the code again S When any operation time described below is over, registration mode completes S When the next procedure is performed while the timer is working, the timer completes counting time, then next timer starts Initial condition: All doors closed, not key in cylinder Start Insert already registered master key into the key multiple codes, they are output in order staring from the lowest code S After all the codes are output, Lo is displayed for 4.5 secs., then all the code are output again starting from the lowest code S If the situation changes during code output, Lo is output for 4.5 secs after output of the current code ceases, then the codes are output again starting from the lowest code E.g while 11 (out of 11 When the next procedure is performed while the timer is working, the timer completes counting time, then next timer starts S When replacing ”Ignition Cylinder Key Set” or ”Lock Cylinder Set” and register according to the following procedure using the original master key However, after the registration of the additional master key, as the original master key and the original sub−key is not necessary any more, so erase registration of those key codes S For the registration order, it is not necessary to distinguish between Main and Sub (Main key and Sub key are automatically identified) When a registration error in the transponder key ECU is detected, the security indicator indicates the following codes 2−1 Communication error between the key to be registered and the transponder key
