We can’t force them to focus on only history and literature or science and mathematics. It is the fact that each subject has its own interesting features. For example, history provides information and knowledge of events in the past as well as educate students about what the world and their country have ever experienced. This subject help them memorize their ancestors. Literature is usually boring to some students but inspires many others. Literature also builds student’s perceptiontowards the world, gives them the taste of the their own language and of the other languages. The reason why students usually get bored with these two subjects is that the teaching methods are sometimes not very interesting. On the contrary, science and mathematics require students to think logically and do more exercises, which encourages them to think and deal with the problems, which rarely makes them fall asleep. Also, science and mathematics are usually significantly evaluated by parents, then they stimulate their children to concentrate on natural science subjects rather than social science subjects. However, children are not always keen on studying science and math, many of them prefer history and literature. These 4 subjects are equally important. In conclusion, which subjects students are interested in, let them spend time to study and research about it, but still keep learning the others.
