Bài viết cung cấp cấu trúc cũng như quy tắc cần nhớ của một số dạng đảo ngữ đặc biệt trong tiếng Anh. Các cấu trúc đảo ngữ đặc biệt (Phần I) A. LÝ THUYẾT: I. Đảo ngữ với Not Mang ý nghĩa phủ định (không) Cấu trúc: Not + N + Trợ động từ + S + V + O Ví dụ She did not shed a tear when the story ended in a tragedy. > Not a tear did she shed when the story ended in a tragedy. II. Đảo ngữ với các từ: Seldom, Hardly, Scarely, Rarely, Little, Never Mang ý nghĩa hiếm khi, ít khi Cấu trúc: Seldom Hardly Scarcely + Trợ động từ + S + V + O Rarely Little Never Ví dụ: I have never seen such a beautiful girl in my life > Never in my life have I seen such a beautiful girl. III. Đảo ngữ với các cụm từ chứa No Ý nghĩa của các cụm từ: Cụm từ chứa NO Nghĩa At no time On no condition Under no circumstances For no reason In no way No longer Chẳng khi nào Không vì bất kì điều kiện nào Không ở trong hoàn cảnh nào Không có lý do gì Không có cách nào Không còn nữa Cấu trúc: At no time On no condition Under no circumstances + trợ động từ + S + V + O For no reason In no way No longer Ví dụ: He never suspected that his girlfriend was an enemy spy. > At no time did he suspect that his girlfriend was an enemy spy.
