- Improve their listening skills
- Know more about forest fires: causes of forest fires, ways to prevent them
- Know more new words related to forest fire

Textbook, lesson plan, handouts, projector, player, speaker.
III PROCEDURE
1 WARM UP (5’)
- Show a picture about a forest fire hidden by many
color rectangles and ask Ss to look at the screen and
guess the topic: What is it? / What is the picture
about?
Suggested answer: It is forest fire/ The picture is
about a forest fire
- Leads in new lesson: “Today we are going to listen
to a passage about the forest fire.”
- Whole class
- Look at the picture and give the answer
- Listen to the teacher
2 PRE-LISTENING (12’)
2.1 Work in groups (5’)
- Show some pictures and ask Ss to work in groups of - Group work
