HOA NINH HIGH SCHOOL –LESSON PLAN OF ENGLISH 11 Date of preparation: 23/12/2017 Week: 20 Period: 055 UNIT 6: GLOBAL WARMING GETTING STARTED I OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - get to know words and phrases related to global warming - develop reading and listening skills II TEACHING AIDS: - Board, chalk, textbook III PROCEDURE: Teacher’s activities Students’activities I Warm-up: - Ask Ss to look at the picture and answer the question: - Who you see in the picture? - Where you think they are? - What are they doing? II New lesson: - Look at the picture and answer the questions - Expected answers: The people are Ms Hoa and her students Ms Hoa is checking how they are preparing for a team presentation on global warming and is suggesting some ideas Activity 1: Listen and read - Tell Ss that they are going to listen to a conversation between Mai, Ms Hoa and Minh - Play the recording - Ask Ss listen to the recording and read the conversation - Explain new words if necessary Activity 2: Read the conversation again and Teacher: Bui Le Duc Hanh -
