Đề tài bước đầu khảo sát đặc điểm hình thái và giải phẫu của 7 loài có ở Việt Nam: S. americanum Mill., S. coagulans Forssk., S. diphyllum L., S. melongena L. var. esculentum Ness. cultivar Bride và cultivar Kermit., S. pseudocapsicum L., S. spirale Roxb. và S. torvum Sw..Phương pháp nghiên cứu: Mô tả các đặc điểm hình thái và giải phẫu. Xác định tên khoa học dựa trên các khóa định loài và mẫu tiêu bản khô được lưu trữ tại Viện Sinh học nhiệt đới TP. Hồ Chí Minh.Kết quả: Chi Solanum L. có một số đặc điểm đặc biệt như: Cây cỏ hay gỗ nhỏ. Lá đơn, mọc so le ở dưới và từng đôi ở đoạn mang hoa. Cụm hoa ngoài nách lá. Hoa đều, lưỡng tính hay đôi khi có thêm hoa đực, mẫu 5. Đài hợp. Tràng hình bánh xe. Nhị đính trên ống tràng, bao phấn xếp chụm thành một ống quanh vòi nhụy, mở bằng lỗ ở đỉnh. Lá noãn 2, đặt lệch, dính nhau thành bầu trên có 2 ô, thai tòa lồi. Quả mọng, hạt hình dĩa, mầm cong. Lông che chở đa bào thẳng hay phân nhánh. Libe quanh tủy hiện diện. Tinh thể calci oxalat dạng cát.Kết luận: Có thể nhận diện các loài trong chi Solanum L. dựa trên đặc điểm hình thái và giải phẫu.Từ khóa: Solanum, hình thái, giải phẫu. Our subject is researching morphological and anatomical characteristics of 7 species in Viet Nam such as: S. americanum Mill., S. coagulans Forssk., S. diphyllum L., S. melongena L. var. esculentum Ness. cultivar Bride và cultivar Kermit., S. pseudocapsicum L., S. spirale Roxb. and S. torvum Sw..Research methods: Description of morphological and anatomical characteristics. The scientific names of species were determined by using the keys to species and comparing with herbarium type species in the Tropical Biology Institute HoChiMinh City.Results: The genus Solanum L. are herbs or small trees. Leaves simple, alternate below, but becoming paired towards the inflorescence. Inflorescences extraaxillary. Flowers bisexual or sometimes andromonoecious, actinomorphic, 5merous. Corolla rotate or stellate. Stamens inserted high in corolla tube; anthers often connivent around style, dehiscing by apical pores. Ovary 2 locular with enlarged placentae; ovules axile, numerous. Berries mostly juicy; seeds discoid, embryo strongly curved. Hairs simple, branched, or stellate. Internal phloem present. The calci oxalate crystals in gtain of sand.Conclusion: Distinguishing the species of the genus Solanum L. relies on morphological and anatomical characteristics.
