Yes, I do./No, I don’t Education aim: - To educate the students to love pets Skills: Integrated skills II.Teacher’s and pupils’preparation: - Method : Communicative Approach - Technique : Repetiton, Explanation , pairwork - Material needed: Textbook , small board, teachercards , cassette player III Procedure in class : 35 mins 1.Stabilization (1m) - Greeting - Checking attendance 2.Check-up previous knowledge (5ms) - Introducces them the new language , the aim they learn it and how to study it well 3.Presentation of new materials (29ms) Time 8’ Teacher’s activities A Look, listen and repeat Lead – in: - Introduces the any pets in the house - Presents the lesson Ask them to identify the characters and things in the picture Pre – practice: - Teaches new words and the pattern: - Give the newwords Dog : chó Cat : mèo Parrot : vẹt Rabbit : thỏ goldfish : cá vàng - Reads the new words and calls sts to repeat Students’ activities The contents of lesson Unit 16: Lesson -Part: 1, 2, -Listen to the teacher -Observe - Look at the teacher, listen to the teacher and write down - Listen to the teacher and repeat 1.Vocabulary Dog : chó Cat : mèo 8’ 9’ Controlled – practice: - Nam, Mai and Quan are playing with dog in the garden Points about them and talk in the textbook - Lets them listen to the dialogue on the cassette - Asks them to role play the dialogue Free – practice: - Aks them to practise asking and identifying to their pets B Point and say Lead-in: - Mimes and asks the sts to tell the word Pre- practice: -Guides the sts how to this exercise - Guides the sts to distinguish and tell about their pets - Give the structure : Doyouhaveany rabbits?
