Margaret Mussoi Luchetta Groff, Chief Financial Officer of Itaipu Binacional, is graduated as a civil engineer by the Federal University of Parana State (UFPR), with a master’s degree in Engineering Economics (at UniFAE), MBA in Finance (at IBMEC) and MBA in Business Management (at ESADE/Barcelona, Spain) She has worked at Itaipu Binacional since 1987 In addition to her activities as CFO, she is one of the leaders of the Gender Equity Program and coordinates Itaipu's Health Initiative, the Committee of Intelligent Mobility Program and the Electric Vehicle Project She is a member of several boards of companies and institutions Mrs Groff is the founder and current director of the Space for Executive Women of Paraná State, president of the Fraternity for the Grand Orient of Brazil-Parana and chairman of the COGE Foundation Council, an institution dedicated to promote innovation among companies of the Brazilian electricity market She represents Itaipu at the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Leadership Group, an initiative of the UN Global Compact and the UN Women She was recognized as one of the Most Influential Women of Brazil, in the category of Economics and Finance, granted in 2007 by the newspaper Gazeta Mercantil She was also honored with the Oslo Business for Peace Award 2013, awarded by the committees of the Nobel Peace and Nobel Economics Prize 12.February.2015
