Sau mỗi lần nghe thầy cô giảng bài xong, tôi đều đọc đi đọc lại thật kỹ các kiến thức cơ bản trong SGK và làm bài tập, làm đi làm lại nhiều lần. Phần ngữ pháp tiếng Anh không chỉ giới hạn ở chương trình SGK lớp 12 mà nó nằm rải rác ở nhiều bậc học khác, vì thế, tôi phải ôn đi ôn lại kiến thức cơ bản, kể cả những kiến thức đã được cung cấp từ hồi học THCS. Trong SGK lớp 12, ở cuối mỗi chương đều có một bài tập ôn chung, tôi thường tự làm phần ôn tập đó để nắm vững kiến thức. Ngoài ra, tôi còn mua đĩa nghe theo chương trình SGK để rèn luyện thêm phần nghe, nhưng quan trọng nhất vẫn là trau dồi từ vựng và biết phân loại kiến thức theo nhóm cho dễ học. Chẳng hạn, khi làm bài tập ôn chung, tôi xem chương đó có chủ điểm là gì? Nếu là thể thao thì tôi sẽ học kỹ các từ vựng về đề tài này bằng cách dò định nghĩa trong từ điển và ghi ví dụ các câu hỏi chứa từ đó. Cụ thể, tôi ghi ví dụ này ra riêng một tờ giấy và coi đi coi lại, khi đã chắc chắn thuộc rồi thì làm phần ôn tập đó để hệ thống lại kiến thức. Đó là về từ vựng, những phần còn lại như ngữ pháp, đọc hiểu… tôi cũng học tương tự như vậy. Trong việc ôn tập kiến thức theo nhóm, chẳng hạn như ngữ pháp, tôi phân thành ba nhóm chính: thì hiện tại, quá khứ và tương lai; ngoài ra còn một số nhóm phụ khác như dạng câu đảo ngữ, so sánh… Mỗi nhóm sẽ có những kiến thức cơ bản cho từng phần và tôi sẽ cho ví dụ cụ thể để dễ nhớ. Ví dụ, trong thì tương lai, tôi chia thành thì tương lai đơn, tương lai tiếp diễn và tương lai hoàn thành. Ở thì tương lai hoàn thành tôi đưa ra cấu trúc là: Subject + will have + PP, sau đó đưa ví dụ cụ thể là By the time we arrive, the party will have been over. Ở mỗi thì, tôi đều đưa ra một vài ví dụ cụ thể để xem có những điểm giống và khác nhau như thế nào mà vận dụng công thức để làm bài tập, bởi khi học kiến thức cơ bản thì mỗi phần sẽ riêng biệt với nhau nhưng khi làm bài tập cụ thể như bài đọc - hiểu chẳng hạn sẽ xuất hiện nhiều mẫu câu như thì hiện tại, quá khứ… nên để liên kết kiến thức cần làm nhiều bài tập Thời gian đến kỳ thi tốt nghiệp THPT đang rất gần, tôi nghĩ để môn thi tiếng Anh đạt hiệu quả cao, các bạn nên học theo hướng dẫn của giáo viên và tự làm bài tập nhiều lần để nắm vững kiến thức.
