graduate of the Department of Socio-Information at Okayama University of Science I really enjoyed my four years studying in Japan The reputation that OUS is friendly towards international students proved to be true, with kind and helpful faculty and staff The specialized knowledge I have gained during my years at OUS has proven valuable at my present workplace I am WANG WENLEI Graduate of Okayama University of Science Faculty of Informatics Department of Socio-Information Employed at Phiten Co., Ltd Because of the experience I have gained during my current employment, I am able to communicate more clearly with Japanese people, learn about their culture, and also understand what is involved in hotel management through a job Although language proficiency is most important for working in Japan, knowing special terminology and acquiring fundamental knowledge in other foreign languages commonly used has proven beneficial My advice to others with desire to work in a foreign county, make sure you study and acquire the special terms commonly used in your field Like the proverb states, When in Rome, as the Romans Try to adapt to your surroundings; but, at the same time be true to yourself and hold on to your convictions Concerning the relationship between Japan and China, in a nutshell, we must strengthen the relationship between our two nations I am truly grateful to Professor Mori and all the faculty members who were in charge of my classes I would like to thank KUSA for their continuous warm and caring support Finally, although I may have had other opinions, I have no regrets about this experience very grateful to have been a student at OUS After graduating, I was able to secure employment at a company in Tokyo and am now working in Beijing My colleagues and I always reminisce about our years at OUS at class reunions and will forever have deep appreciation for our alma mater WANG HONGSHENG Graduate Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts College of Science and Industrial Technology Department of Tourism Creation (Currently Department of Management and Information Science)Employed at Hotel Nikko Kurashiki I am a graduate of Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts, currently working at a travel agency KUSA gave me the opportunity to participate in group-workshops and become certified in my career It was difficult for me at first to get used to my NI LAR KHIN Graduate of Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts College of Science and Industrial Technology Department of Tourism Creation (Currently Department of Management and Information Science)Employed at International Tourism Center, JTB Kyushu Main Office 14 job after four years of college life, but I am doing well and leading a very happy and rewarding life My job is challenging and I have grown as a person with the help of my co-workers and the exciting work environment The attractive hallmark of Chiba Institute of Science includes the friendly faculty and a wonderful view of the ocean that relieves the stresses of daily life ULVAC, the company I work for, is small but is known for its contribution of state-of-the-art technology to large corporations I had the advantage of studying in a department that offers unique courses I believe that the Department of Risk and Crisis Management will increase in importance as environmental demands will put society more at risk PARK JONG PIL Graduate of Chiba Institute of Science Faculty of Risk and Crisis Management Department of Risk and Crisis Management System Employed at ULVAC I enrolled in April 2006 with an interest in the only university in Asia having a Department of Risk and Crisis Management The opportunity of being able to study in a variety of fields is an attractive feature of CIS We are able to apply what we learned MAYUKA DIMAL Graduate of Chiba Institute of Science Faculty of Risk and Crisis Management Undergraduate Degree: Department of Disasters System Science(Department of Risk and Crisis Management) Graduate Program: Risk and Crisis Management I graduated from the Department of Environmental Security System in 2011 and continued on to the graduate program in Risk and Crisis Management While enrolled, I passed the national licensure examination as a Clinical Technician I remember the welcome reception held by the university when I first enrolled and having received many useful daily necessities from members of the Choshi community CIS has great facilities and the professors are very kind I was also blessed with friendly teachers and an environment that allowed me to study effectively After graduating, I was accepted in a major company in Japan This company has plans to expand in China, and if this becomes a reality, I hope to be able to use my academic specialty and language ability to further my career From my point of view, I would like to advise my underclassmen that it is important to improve one s Japanese proficiency level Having knowledge of the language will allow understanding of the lectures and community, especially if working part-time or if you are generally in an environment amongst people A bright future lies ahead of you, as long as you study hard and not forget your purpose for coming to Japan anywhere around the world I would like to continue to deepen the exchange between Sri Lanka and Japan, as well as support ties between Japan and the world LIU WEIQIN Graduate of Chiba Institute of Science Faculty of Risk and Crisis Management Undergraduate Degree: Department of Environmental Security
