Unit 7: THE WORLD OF WORK A. A STUDENT’S WORK ( A1 ) A1.Listen. Then practice with a partner: * Vocabulary: -late (adj) ≠ early (adj) -hard (adv) -summer vacation (n) -last (v ) -have fun + V-ing * Answers: a. Hoa’s classes start at 7. b.They finish at a quarter past elevent. c.Hoa does her homework 2 hours a day. d. She’ll visite her parents on their farm during her vacation. e. My classes start at 12.45 in the afternoon. f. I work more hour than Hoa. g. It starts in september and finish in May. * Use these words to make sentences: 1.You/ be/ late/ for/ school. 2.He/ usually/ start/ work/ 6 o’clock/ morning. 3.Our summer vacation/ start/ June/ end/ August. 4.I/ go/ see/ mom/ dad/ their farm. - Let Ss answetr the questions - Let Ss listen to the tape twice - Explain the structure - Explain vocabulary - Check up : Rub out and remember -Let Ss practice reading the dialogue. -Let them answer the questions ( pairwork).
