Period : 40 LESSON PLAN Week : Unit 7 : THE WORLD OF WORK Date: Section A : A STUDENT’S WORK ( A1 ) 1/ Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about student’s activities 2/ Language contents: - Vocabulary: late, early,hard,summer vacation,last - Grammar : Present simple tense, Comparative adjectives 3/ Teachniques: Repetition, ask and answer, pairwork, groupwork 4/ Teaching aids: Textbook, extra board, pictures, cassette player. 5/ Time : 45 minutes 6/ Procedures: Stages Contents Notes Warm up Presentation Practice Chatting -How are you? -What do you do in your free time? -How many hours a day do you do your homework? Unit 7: THE WORLD OF WORK A. A STUDENT’S WORK ( A1 ) A1.Listen. Then practice with a partner: * Vocabulary: -late (adj) ≠ early (adj) -hard (adv) -summer vacation (n) -last (v ) -have fun + V-ing * Answers: a. Hoa’s classes start at 7. b.They finish at a quarter past elevent. c.Hoa does her homework 2 hours a day. d. She’ll visite her parents on their farm during her vacation. e. My classes start at 12.45 in the afternoon. f. I work more hour than Hoa. g. It starts in september and finish in May. * Use these words to make sentences: 1.You/ be/ late/ for/ school. 2.He/ usually/ start/ work/ 6 o’clock/ morning. 3.Our summer vacation/ start/ June/ end/ August. 4.I/ go/ see/ mom/ dad/ their farm. - Let Ss answetr the questions - Let Ss listen to the tape twice - Explain the structure - Explain vocabulary - Check up : Rub out and remember -Let Ss practice reading the dialogue. -Let them answer the questions ( pairwork).
