Eg: Either teacher or the students are planning to come * Neither…….nor (không ….mà cũng không) được dùng để nối hai ý phủ định Subject + Neither + noun…nor + noun Eg: I trust neither the manager nor the accountant Subject + Neither + verb…nor + noun / verb Eg: I neitrer trust the manager nor the accountant • Khi hai chủ từ số ít được nối với nhau bởi neither…nor, động từ thường được chia ở số ít.nhưng động từ có thể được chia ở số nhiều nếu văn phong không quá sang trọng • Eg: neither jack nor Alice were at home.
