Auto-Position for Multi-Stages

Auto-Position is used to position the blank and tools between stages After

running the first forming stage, it will check the position of the blank (the

DYNAIN file of the previous stage) and tools in each stage Auto-position the blank and tools with the defined relationship and modify the DYNA input file, then run the stage The auto-position function works with Job Submitter The process is described in the following.

1.  Define multi-stages in AutoSetup

2.  Position blank and tools in first forming stage

3.  Define moving direction of each tool and manually position blank and tools in

later stages, building the relationship of blank and tools in each stage

4.  Submit the job

5.  After the first stage is finished, it will check the next stage to determine whether it

needs to position blank and tools If needed, the program will check the

relationship of blank and tools and auto-position blank (the DYNAIN file from the previous stage) and tools

New option “On:…” is added in the Positioning dialog box of all forming stages,

which is used to build the relationship between blank and tools for auto position The option only exists in the first Forming Stage in the previous version
