Notice: am not = ’m not ; are not = aren’t; is not = isn’t * Ordinary verbs: (+) S + V-(s,es) Eg: I walk to school She goes to school (-) S + not/does not + V Eg: We don’t walk to school He doesn’t go to school (?) Do/does +S + V…? Yes, S + do/does No, S + don’t/doesn’t Eg: Do you go to school? Yes, I am/ No, I’m not Does she go to school?
