escape like risk enjoy avoid practise
imagine miss hate finish prevent stop
defer remember go come mind busy
worth help keep prefer can’t + verb
2 Gerunds after an adjective + a preposition
Ex: I am sick of eating the same food every day.
3 Gerund after verb + a preposition
Ex: He persisted in breaking the school rules.
4 Gerund may follow a possessive adjective or the possessive form of a noun.
Ex: I don’t remember his giving us any instructions.
He objected to Timmy’s joining us on the trip.
