Writing Task Web : My Favorite Book: Charlotte’s Include the following in your book report Title Type of book Author Main characters- names and description What the story is about Why I like it One of my favorite books is Charlotte’s Web by E B White It is a fantasy novel about an adorable pig named Wilbur, an amazing spider called Charlotte, and an year old animal lover girl called Fern It takes place in the countryside of America Wilbur was the runt of the litter and Fern’s father planned to kill him immediately Fern begged him not to and for awhile she took care of Wilbur like a little baby When Wilbur got bigger he was sent to live on her uncle’s farm On Zuckerman’s farm Wilbur was at first lonely because Fern wasn’t always there to keep him company Gradually Wilbur made friends with the other animals who lived in the barn- the talkative geese, the sneaky rat Templeton, the sheep, and he became especially close friends with a kind but clever gray spider called Charlotte When Wilbur learns that he is to be killed and eaten at Christmas, Charlotte decides to save him Wilbur desperately wants to live The book tells about Charlotte’s amazing efforts to save Wilbur In the book all the animals talk, although the only human to hear and understand them is Fern Many exciting adventures take place, but you will have to read the book to find out if Wilbur is saved and what happens to Charlotte I like this book because the characters are so special and unusual The story is like no other One miracle after another occurs This is such a famous children’s book that films have been made telling the same story Don’t miss this book!
