Instructor: Nguyễn Thị Vân Trainee: Huỳnh Thị Quỳnh Như Date: 05.11.2014 Period:  Lesson Plan Grade Unit 7: THE WORLD OF WORK Section A: A student’s work (A2, A3) A Objectives: I Educational aim: by the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - talk about student’s work - know the vacations in Vietnam and America - understand and practice comparative adjectives II Knowledge: General knowledge: students can know the vacations in America Language content: - Vocabulary: (n): vacation, Tet holiday, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, gift, turkey, firework display, midnight (v): hear, celebrate, spend, stay up (adj): few (pre): during - Grammar: Comparative adjectives Skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing Methods and teaching aids: - Audio lingual method and CLT method - Textbook, cassette player, board, chalk, pictures, flashcards, things (available) Time: 45 minutes B Teaching Procedures: Teacher’s Activities Warm – up: (5 mins) - Show the table by power point - Explain the game rule for students - Give the clue - Check and give students the correct answer Pre – reading & listening: a Lead – in: (2 mins) - Let students look at the letter on page 73 - Ask students to scan the letter and answers some questions Students’ Activities - Join in the game Content Let’s play game A M E R I C A - This is a country name - Open the book on page 73 and look at the letter - Listen and answer teacher’s questions - Who write this letter?
