1 Warm-up: eliciting (15’)

many as possible
- Ss discuss in pairs and answer

- How long: ask for time
- How far: ask for distance
- How many + countable N (plural) How much + uncountable N
- How + Adj

B Gerund and to – infinitive.
a/ Gerund (V-ing): (10’)
* “to be”:
Wh- + be + S (+ …)?
Ex: What is your name? – My name is A
* Modal verbs: can, could, will, would,
shall, should, may, might, must, ought to Wh- + Modal V + S + V (+ …)? Ex: How many languages can you speak? – 3
* Ordinary verbs:
Wh- + do/does/did + S + V (+ …)? Ex: Where did you go yesterday?
