V Procedure:

1 Warm-up: eliciting (15’)

-T asks Ss to recall interrogative words as

many as possible

- Ss discuss in pairs and answer

- T gives feedback

* who, whom, what, which, where, when, why, how:

- How long: ask for time

- How far: ask for distance

- How many + countable N (plural) How much + uncountable N

- How + Adj

2 Reviewing:

A/ WH- questions: (15’)

- T explains the rule:

- Ss take notes

B Gerund and to – infinitive.

a/ Gerund (V-ing): (10’)

* “to be”:

Wh- + be + S (+ …)?

Ex: What is your name? – My name is A

* Modal verbs: can, could, will, would,

shall, should, may, might, must, ought to Wh- + Modal V + S + V (+ …)? Ex: How many languages can you speak? – 3

* Ordinary verbs:

Wh- + do/does/did + S + V (+ …)? Ex: Where did you go yesterday?

2 After prepositions: in, on, at, of, for

Ex: The children are interested in playing soccer He has the trouble with doing this research.
