OP-AMP OPERATION AMPLIFIER Another way of solving – using Laplace Transform vIN ( s ) vIN ( t ) vOUT ( s ) vOUT ( t ) sC Another way of solving – using Laplace Transform Taking the challenges : None negative feedback or positive feedback  Without negative feedback, or with positive feedback , an op-amp acts as a comparator If v+ > v-  = maximum positive voltage (+Vsupply) If v+ > v-  = maximum negative voltage (-Vsupply) vOUT vOUT Since there is no feedback or positive feedback from the output to input, the circuit acts as a comparator The circuit's gain is just the A (infinite gain) of the op-amp Comparator Bi-stable circuit Schmitt trigger circuit END
