me and my family

Since I was a little child, I felt most interested in reading different types of books, especially story books by famous authors One of my favorite books is “Chicken soup for
the soul” which was written by Jack Canfield, a well- known writer all over the world.
There are two reasons why I spend a lot of time reading it
Firstly, Chicken soup for the soul is a beautiful book It has a clear layout, so it’s easy
to read It was written in two languages, English and Vietnamese This helps me improve
my English I can understand the stories in both languages This is one of the reasons why I
really like reading the book With nice covers, cute and vivid design, Chicken soup for the soul is very suitable to give as a gift to friends and loved ones.
About the content of the book, it is divided into 2 main parts, they are Love and Life Each part contains 2 sections The book tells us about many important values in life: love between members in a family and love for everything around us, so that I can find faith and courage in life, overcome difficulties and create the value of my own
Secondly, “Chicken soup for the soul” has made me change my mind in order to become a good person From the stories, I learn about the difficulties in life
Besides, I learn what the happiness is and how to maintain the happiness that each of
us has Every story can change my mind, my heart and my life So, I can say that this book has a positive impact on me
To sum up, I believe that these stories will not only help me learn English but also make a difference, bring source of inspiration for you and me to live better, and you will realize that your spiritual life is better after reading each story in the book

Last year, my summer vacation lasted 1 month My family decided to go to Sapa which is a famous destination in Lao Cai Province and we had a wonderful time there First, we were impressed by the natural charm of Sapa We visited many sights in SP such as: Silver waterfall, Ta Phin village and so on SP has a natural beauty with high moutains, white clouds, Especially, the atmosphere in this small town is very fresh and cool We like the feeling of walking along the street at night and ate delicious food You can feel on 4 seasons one day
In addition, SP has attracted us because of its cultural diversity Along the streets of this beautiful city, we can see women and children from ethnic minorities All of them dressed in their traditional way It made us surprised to find that they can talk to the foreign visitors in English fluently and accurately We have learned many interesting things about the custom and culture of various ethnic minorities in northwest Vietnam
Returning to my city, we still could not forget the trip to SP It was indeed an interesting summer vacation

My best friend is Tien We have known each other since we were 5 years old However, we became best friends when we were in grade 3 At that time I was very bad at English, and it was him who helped me improve my English Now He lives with his parents in Chu Van An street- Lien Bao ward

Our school, like other schools, has prescribed a uniform for us We have to wear black trousers and a white shirt The girls have to wear white shirts and black skirts

I live in Vinh Phuc province which has many beautiful destinations One of the best destinations I’d like to talk about today is Dai Lai Lake which is situated at the foot of Tam Dao Mountain in Phuc Yen Town, 50km from Hanoi
Dai Lai Lake is an artificial lake with 525ha The climate and weather in Dai Lai
are rather stable It is cooler in Summer and warmer in Winter compared to Hanoi
Animals are not many but there are several species: monkeys, deer, fox squirrel and
several bird species under protection In Dai Lai, there are many modern villas, golf fields, and commercial centers In the middle of the lake, there is a small but beautiful island which is the home for many birds There are also a lot of activities visiter can do here such
as going fishing, going boating, walking along the sides of the lake to enjoy fresh atmosphere, or playing goft…
In a near future Dai Lai shall be an attractive area for recreation sports, weekend holidays, sightseeing to local and international tourists
