Twister
-Teacher starts with a tongue twister to practice speaking.
This week: If a dog chews shoes, whose shoes does he
choose?

-Teacher shows clip of Mr. Bean searching for a bus station.

Activity: Simon
Says
-Teacher does a few rounds of Simon(Teacher Name) Says
-Teacher will tell the students to look in certain directions to
gauge familiarity with directions.

Vocab: Directions
-Teacher goes over different ways to tell directions.
5-7'
Video Activity
-Students watch "Giving Directions" video and answer
questions about the video on their handouts.
-Teacher will replay the video once so students can get the
answers they missed.
8-13'
Listening Activity
-Teacher shows a map on the board.
-Teacher will give directions and the students have to guess
where the robot will end up.
-This can go for as many rounds as the teacher wants.
9-15'
Final Activity:
Blind Wanderer
-Teacher chooses one student to wear a blind fold.
-A second student must lead the blind student to a location
provided by the teacher.
-Do this with many students until time is over.
-Teacher can play, too!
