I usually listen to soft music before I go to bed. I like reading novels, newspaper and I also like going picnic with my family on holiday. I do love travelling a lot. The most places I want to go to is Ha Noi capital - where having thirty six streets and districts. I also want to visit many beautiful places such as The Mausoleums of Ho Chi Minh City. Until now, I still have not yet visited Ha Noi because I am very busy with my job and not enough money to go there. I try to work hard and save more money. Hopefully, my family will visit Hanoi next year. Topic 2: Talking about your Mommy My mother is an excellent woman. Her name is Hong. She is a farmer and I am very proud of her. She is very beautiful with long hair, black eyes and oval face. She is not tall and quite thin. She is a gentle and righteous mother. She loves us very much. She usually goes to bed late and gets up early. She works hard to bring up us. Her dream is all her children can study in university. She hopes we have a happy life. I love my mother so much. At the present, although my mother has passed away but her image is always in the bottom of my heart forever. Topic 3: Talking about your close friend 1. My name is Nguyen Tien A. Today, I want to talk about my closed friend. Her name is Mai. She is thirty two year old. She is very nice and friendly. She has a short hair, black eyes and a charming smile. She is tall. She likes listening to music, watching TV and playing piano. Her friends do love her a lots. She is very kind. She is my colleague. We usually share our troubles as well as our joys. I am very happy to have a friend like her. 2. I feel so lucky to have a close friend like Trang. We studied together for 12 years and we can share everything in our life without hesitation. Both of us have the same hobbies such as reading book, listening to pop music, traveling, etc. When I am sad, she is ready to listen to me and be by my side all the time when I get stuck. Sometimes she cries like a child just because I fight with her about foods. She is innocent and a helpful person. Therefore, we use to take part in charity and do volunteer work at weekend. We keep remain close friends until now and will always be like this. Topic 4: Talking about your weekend My name is Nguyen Tien Dung. I have a small family with my wife and my son. We live in Ho Chi Minh City. On weekend, I usually go to the supermarket with my family. Then, we eat lunch together. In the afternoon, we usually go swimming. After that, we fly a kite on the field with my son. Then, we return home. We eat dinner and watch TV together. After dinner, we talk about family, hobby and sharing our joys. My weekend is very happy. I love my family so much. Topic 5: Talking about yourself My name is Nguyen Tien Dung. I am thirty six year old. I was born in Quang Tri province. Now, I am living in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, I am working at HIAST College. I have a small family with my wife and my son. We are a happy family. We usually go to the pagoda on weekend. I believe in Buddhism. I do love my family as well. I have two brothers and two sisters. My parents have passed away. I like reading book and watching TV when I have free time. My dream is travelling around the country and outside the world. Topic 6: Taking about a beautiful day Last Sunday was a nice day with blue sky, white cloudy. The wind was blowing very lightly. My family decided to go picnic in the park. My wife prepared food and drink. My son was very eagerly awaited for this picnic. When reached the park, we walked around and chose a comfortable place. After having lunch in the park, we went for swimming. We took such pictures and having fun of playing there. We did enjoy our time together in this beautiful weather. Then, we returned home to have dinner and relaxed. We had a great day together and I do love spending time with my family. Topic 7: A holiday Last year, my family went for holiday in Ha Long Bay. This is a very beautiful place which has many caves and beaches. In summer, the weather is very hot. Therefore, many visitors come here for playing, sight-seeing and taking such photos. My family stayed here for 3 days. We took a lots photos, enjoyed the view- sight and the food as well. People in here are very friendly and hard-working. They did help us a lots. We were very happy during our stay in Ha Long Bay. This is our last holiday in year. We felt very happy and comfortable after visiting Ha Long Bay. We do hope to have a second chance to come here again.
