Relanit is a modern technology for circular knitting machine In the conventional circular knitting machine the relative action between sinker and the needle was occurred at 90° angle, but in the relanit technology the sinker and the needle action at 0°, and loop formation occurred at 0°
Why relanit is used ?
In conventional machine in time of loop formation needle gives vertical movement and sinker gives a horizontal movement In this process needle have to descend to knock-over, which takes some time, so to minimize this time, relanit technology is innovated In the MAYER & CHI machine this technology is used, in this technology the sinker used is

From the calculation below we can found the higher productivity
If a machine runs at 30 rpm, then 6 X 30 = 180
courses /min
= 180 x60=10800 courses / hr
=180 x60x24=259200 courses /day
