Teaching aids Sub – board V. Procedures 1. Warm – up (5’) T: asks some questions + What must you do in formal letters? + How about the outline? Ss: reply. T: leads to the new lesson. 2. Activities (37’) * Task 1 (1/38) T: gives the form of modal verbs with if If + S + V / V s / V es , S + modal + V Ex: If you want to get good grades, you must study hard. T: gives exercise 1 and guides. Ss: read and write. T: gets feedback, corrects mistakes and gives true answers (Teacher’s book/54) * Task 2 (2/38) T: reviews here and now in reported speech quickly T: provides exercise 2 and gives instructions. Ss: read and write.
