Week 31: Date of planing: 17/ 04/ 2011. Date of teaching: Monday – 18/ 04/ 2011. Class 3,4,5: Ban Pho. Tuesday – 19/ 04/ 2011. Class 3,4,5: Thao Hong Den. Unit 9 : my house Period 39: Section A 4,5,6,7: I. Objectives: *Competences: Ss will be able to *Skills: 4 skills. II. Language contents: 1. Vocabs: + Living room, Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen 2. Structure: - This is my bedroom. It is small. - That’s my livingroom. It’s big. IIi. Teaching aids: - Student’s book and work book. Small board, Flash cards, cassette. IV. Procedure: Activities Content 1.Organization: * Sing a song to stabilize class. ( 2ms) The way to school - Greeting. 2. Check up: T introduces the lesson and asks ss to come & write the wods under each picture: - Chorus the words. - Note the words with their colors. + Chorus in class then individually. ( T corrects the way to pronunciate) - T asks ss to match the words with pictures. 1a. livingroom/ big 1b. bedroom/small * Checking the old lesson. 2a. Kitchen/ big 2b. bathroom/ big Let ss listen 3 times & check. Give the keys to the whole class. Comment and correct. A4. Listen and check: - T points a picture to say and write on board:… - T explains then asks a good student to do the same. T corrects. A5. Say it right: - T guides Ss to read right. A6. Let’s write - Ss complete the sentences. - Ss works in pairs: point picture and say. Then tell to the whole class. Comment & correct. ( 7 – 8 ss) - Now write down in your notebook. - T goes round, monitors and helps. A7. Let’s play Bingo - T guides ss play and let them play three times. - T guides ss do Exercise 4 (63) by A4. Chorus. 4.Consolidation: - Ss repeat the content of the lesson, T summaries and gives task. 5.Home work: - Read the lesson again, - write the new words. - Pre – read B1 -> B3 Exercise 4 (63) 1. Objectives: *Competences: Ss will be able to describe rooms and objects in the house. + Talking about the location of objects in the house. *Skills: 4 skills. II. Language contents: 1. Vocabs: + large + chair + table + TV 2. Structure: - There is a bed in the room. - There are two chairs in the room. They are small. IIi. Teaching aids: - Student’s book and work book. Small board, Flash cards, cassette. IV. Procedure: Activities Content 1.Organization: * Sing a song to stabilize class.Ten little Indians 2.Check up: - T introduces the lesson and asks ss to complete the crossword puzzle in exercise 3 ( 63) WB. 3.New lesson: Chorus B1. Listen and repeat - Look at Mai’s bedroom there are a lot of objects, what they are. - Ss tell the objects in Mai’s bedroom. T introduces the words in English. Chorus B2. Let’s talk - Ss complete the sentences. And let’s talk. B3. Listen and number - Now listen & repeat. + How does mai introduce her room? - T explains the way to introduce objects in the house and does a model, ss continue to describe the picture in part 2 (page 87) - Ss come to the board, point the objects in the picture and talk loudly, others comment, T corrects - Asks ss to relize the pictures and * Checking the old lesson. This is my bedroom. It is large. + Tell the keys to the whole class. Comment and correct - Can you descibe the picture as you hear? ( 1 – 2 s retell with T’s help) - T shows the picture in Exercise 6 (64), asks ss to points the picture and describe. T may do a model, then good students and others.
