Vocabulary: dump, deforestation, dynamite fishing, spraying pesticides, rock, spoil III. Techniques: rub out and remember, brainstorming, picture drill, network IV. Teaching aids: pictures, cassette tape, cards. V .Procedure : Teacher’s and students’ activities Contents T asks Ss to play the game with the teacher’s guiding. T asks Ss to think of the environmental problems in their village. T asks Ss to go to the board and write down their ideas. T asks Ss to match the environment problems to the pictures. Techniques: brainstorming, R & R, question and answer, model. IV. Teaching aids: pictures, cards. V .Procedure : Teacher’s and students’ activities Contents T asks Ss some questions , Ss listen and answer the questions : T elicits new words from Ss: meaning, pronunciation. Rub out and remember T introduces the topic: “Today we are going to write a complain letter”. T provides Ss five sections of a complaint letter in random order. T gets them to put the sections in a correct order. T has Ss read the letter and then label each section with the appropriate letter: S,C,R,A or P T asks Ss to read the cues and then answer the questions below: T asks students to write the letter individually. I am very worried because people are using electricity to catch fish. A lot of small fish have died and floated on the surface of water. Other animals such as frogs, toads, and even birds have also died from electric shock waves. I would suggest that the local authorities have measures to stop this and to prohibit and fine heavily those who use this way to catch fish in order to protect the environment.
