The present simple tense * Form: S + V ( Hình thức quá khứ đơn ) * Use: Thì quá khứ đơn thờng đợc sử dụng trong các trờng hợp sau : 1. Diễn tả một hành động xảy ra tại một điểm thời gian đợc xác định rõ ở quá khứ. Ex: - She left PleiKu City for HaNoi yesterday. - I saw them in the street about 2 hours ago 2. Diễn tả một trạng thái ở quá khứ Ex: - It was rainy last week. - He didnt look happy yesterday. 3. Khi hai hành động xảy ra ở quá khứ, hành động này xảy ra trớc hành động kia , ta dùng thì quá khứ đơn để diễn tả hành động xảy ra sau. Ex : After we had finished dinner, they went out for a walk last night. *Note : Căn cứ vào cách thành lập hình thức quá khứ và quá khứ phân từ , động từ trong Tiếng Anh đợc phân thành hai loại chính sau : - Regular verbs ( Động từ có qui tắc ): Là động từ có hình thức quá khứ đơn và quá khứ phân từ đợc thành lập bằng cách thêm ed vào sau hình thức nguyên mẫu . Ex: + Rain - rained + Start started + Watch watched - Irregular verbs ( Động từ bất qui tắc) là các động từ nằm trong Bảng các động từ bất qui tắc Ex: + Eat ate eaten + Drink drank drunk + Fall fell fallen B.Conditional sentence type 2 with wish * Form S + wish + S + past simple Tổ: Xã hội -1 - GV: Ê Chăm Nhã Ca Trng PTDT Bỏn Trỳ THCS SIU BLEH Nm hoc: 2012 - 2013 * Use: Câu điều kiện loại 2 dùng để diễn tả hành động, sự việc không có thật hoặc không thể xảy ra ở hiện tại. Ex: - I wish there were rivers and lakes in my hometown. - I wish I were taller. * Note: Trong câu điều kiện loại 2 , động từ TOBE đợc chia là Were cho tất cả các ngôi ( kể cả I ) * Exercises Exercise 1: - Tôi ớc gì tôi đợc học giỏi . - Tôi ớc gì họ đã có mặt ở đây. - Cô ấy ớc gì cô ấy có bố mẹ - Em tôi ớc gì nó có một cái máy tính. C. The present perfect tense * Form S + have/has + Past participle (p.p) * Use: Thì hiện tại hoàn thành thờng đợc sử dụng trong các trờng hợp sau : 1. Diễn tả một hành động đã xảy ra ở quá khứ nhng không xác định rã thời gian. Ex: - I have taught English 5 years ago. - He has known her recently. 2.Diễn tả một hành động vừa mới xảy ra ở quá khứ. Ex: These letters have just arrived. Note: Trong cách dùng này , thờng có trạng từ just đợc dùng kèm và đứng giữa trợ động từ have/has và quá khứ phân từ. 3.Diễn tả một hành động đã xảy ra ở quá khứ và còn kéo dài đến thời điểm nói ở hiện tại. Ex: - It hasnt rained sice May 1 st 4.Diễn tả một hành động đã xảy ra ở quá khứ và hậu quả còn ảnh hởng đến hiện tại. Ex: The flood in 2006 affected ( ảnh hởng ) local peoples lives. 5.Diễn tả một hành động đã xảy ra ở một thời điểm thời gian cha kết thúc. Ex: How many pages of the novel have you read today? II/ TEACHING AIDS: Pictures, textbook. III/ SKILLS: Reading, speaking, listening, writing. IV/ PROCEDURES: 1. Warm up: Chatting with the whole class by ask and answer some questions: a) Do you have any pen pal? b) Where does he/ she live? c) Has she/ he visited your country? d) What activities would you do during the visit? 2. Pre – reading: a) Pre – teach vocabulary: + to correspond (v): explanation: if 2 people correspond, they regulary write to each other. ( trao đổi thư từ ) + a mosque (n): picture: Nhà thờ Hồi giáo + to be impress by: admiring someone or something very much. + to pray (v): picture b) Check vocabulary: Rub out and Remember. 3. While – reading: + Open prediction: Lan’s Malaysian pen pal came to visit her in HaNoi. Can you guess where she went and what she did during her stay ? Using the patterns: S1: I think we should take our friends to Bien Ho, I’ll intoduce them about Ialy hydro power plant. S2: Good ideas! I believe they will be interested in it. LANGUAGE CONTENT: 1.Vocabulary (n): hamburger, Mexico, Mexican, pond (v): pick up (flowers), walk on the grass. 2.Grammar: Past simple tense, past simple with wish. III/ TEACHING AIDS: Pictures, textbook, cassette +VCD and flipchart. IV/ PROCEDURES: 1. Chatting: T and Ss chat together - What’s the date today? - Have you ever gone to a park? - How do you get there? - What can you see there? - What do the signs there say? 2.
