Skills: Listening , reading , speaking skills and working pairs. 3.Attitudes: Students are able to use the present, question words and the possessive adjectives “my, your, his, her” to say about their own information fluently and perfectly. - Ss can ask and answer about them fluently. II. Preparation: - Teacher’s preparation: The teaching plan, cassette player. - Student’s preparation: The notebooks and textbooks. III. Writing: Complete the conversation 1- name’s 2- your - Asks Ss to discuss the conversation in the groups and then asks them to complete the conversation. - Discuss in the groups and complete the conversation. 3- where 4- I’m 5- are 6- I’m from * Practice: - Peter / America. - David / England. - Nam / Vietnam. - Asks the groups to give their answers to copare and check. - Lets Ss listen to the tape to check the answers again. - Asks Ss to practise the conversation in pairs - The groups give the answer to compare and check. - Listen and check the the answers again. - Practise the conversation in pairs 12’ IV. Speaking practice: - Hello, My name’s …….What’s your name ? - Where are you from ? - I’m from………… * Extra practice: Ask and answer with these words: China, France, America, Singapore, Thailand. - Where are you from? - I’m from……… - Asks Ss to stand up and work in pairs - Asks Ss to work in pairs - Work in pairs. - Work in pairs. IV. Consolidation: ( 4’) - Repeat grammar. - Asks some Ss to practise the conversations again. V. Knowledge: - The present simple tense with the verb “ To be “, introducing people, Wh- questions and the definite pronoun “ This “. 2. Skills: Listening , speaking , writing skills and working pairs. 3.Attitudes: Students are able to listen perfectly, can introduce people and practise Wh- question fluently. II. Preparation: - Teacher’s preparation: The teaching plan, cassette player. - Student’s preparation: The notebooks, textbooks, the old lesson. III. Exercise 6 (page 8): Complete the sentences 3- Brazil 4- Italy 5- Russian 6- Hungary 7- Spain 8- Germany - Asks Ss to discuss in the groups to complete the sentences. - Asks Ss to give the keys to compare and - Discuss in the groups to complete the sentences. - Give the key to 9- France *Practice: Say about the people in the picture. S+ be + from + country. check mistakes. - Asks Ss to look at the picture and say. compare and check mistakes. - Look at the picture and say. 10’ IV.Exercise 7: Ask and answer about the people in the picture in Ex 6. * Structure What + be + TTSH + name(s)?
