Results of tensile tests on stainless steel weldments at subzero temperatures, given in Table 17, may be significant in selecting stainless steels for cryogenic applications. Results of ultrasonic determinations of Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio for three stainless steels, shown in Fig. 10 and 11, serve to supplement the tensile data.
