Our range includes different access, equipment arrangement, depending on client requirement (space availability, operation habits). Everywhere, where access and transportation facilities are a key factor, we offer a technique based on a light concrete technology micro-concrete & GRC. (Glass Reinforced Cement). With higher mechanical resistance than concrete, GRC is widely used in construction throughout the world, when weight is an important factor. More resistant and attractive than a sheet-steel enclosure, GRC, being free of metal parts in its construction, our substations are corrosion-proof and prevent internal condensation, due to its features, that are similar to “concrete”. As an option, fault indicators can be added with external lights, or the ITI/RCX remote control system. The Alto range enclosures are mainly designed with a G.R.C. or light concrete plinth, the enclosure is made of steel to ensure solidity and robustness. Alto. The range exists with different widths in order to fit even higher electrical performance. Entirely made in G.R.C. our range of CLIPPER C combines the robustness of concrete and lightness in weight. It is easy to transport by truck or ship (container). This type of substation is preferred for tropical areas, because of the non-corrosive nature of the material, and reduced condensation. Futhermore, even under hot sunny conditions, the temperature effect is limited compared to a steel enclosure. Mainly used for electrical distribution utilities, this range is also suitable for small industrial projects. The internal corridor provides more comfort for the operator (weather protection), and greater electrical reliability. The dimensions usually required range from 6 to 10m 2 . MISTRAL SYSTEM In this range, wall ventilation has been left out. Ventilation has been designed into the concrete front structure. No need for ventilation grids all around (except where power is higher than 1000kVA). The cladding on the upper paving stone makes the buried underground substation invisible and fully adapted to its environment. The installation of the substation can take place on a pavement, under a pedestrian street or in a public garden. Semi-underground substations are a half-way house between the walk-in substation and the submersible type, their appearance remains discreet and their operation easy.
