Unit 10 : Health and hygiene. Lesson 2 : A 3 &A4 . I. Objectives. After the lesson Ss will be able to revive the new topic : Personal hygiene. And revive the structure : brush one’s teeth, have breakfast/ lunch/ dinner, wash and iron clothes -To drill Ss listening ,Reading skills. II. Teaching aids. Tape , cassette, text book , work sheet. III. Teaching procedure. 1. Class organization. 2. Oral test. - Do exercise A1 in the work book .( page 61 ) 3. New lesson. A. Warm up.: Matching: 1. Receive a. Kẹo 2. Get up . b. Là quần áo 3. Iron. c . Nhận 4. Candy d. Từ bỏ. - Ask Ss to give the correct answer . - Read the words in pairs. B.Presentation : A3.Pre- reading - Introduce the reading, and ask Ss to work in pairs to read the reading. *While- reading. - Ask Ss to read aloud the reading and practice talking about Nam ‘s daily routines. What time does Nam do at 6.30 ? He gets up. What time doea he get up ? At 6.30. * Post- reading. - Ask Ss to write about their dairy based on Nam dairy. - Ask Ss to work in pairs to practice aksing and answering . What time do you get up? What do you do at 6.30 ? + 6.30: get up. + 6.45: have breakfast. + 7.00: go to school. +11.00: have lunch. + 12.00: take a rest. + 4.00: play scocer. + 4.30: cook dinner. + 7.00: do homework. - Check the mistake if necessary. A4.Pre- reading. - Introduce the reading and ask Ss to retell again the things that Hoa’s mother reminded her in the last period. -Ask Ss to write down and read aloud the sentences they list. + Get up early. + Wash clothes and iron clothes. + Don’t eat too much candy. + Brush teeth twice a day. - Ask Ss to read the letter that hoa wrote to her mother, and then fill in the blanks. *While –reading. -Read the reading and fill in the blanks with the suitble verbs. - Compare the answer with the partners. - Write down the answer on BB. -read the answer aloud. ` 1. was. 7.) wash. 2. having. 8) iron. 3) show. 9) eating. 4) Take. 10) told. 5) get. 11) see. 6) go 12) go. - Check if necessary. -Introduce the way to write a letter. + Name of the sender , and date, month. + Salutation: Dear , + Complementary close: love, lost of love, with much love, your loving daughter/son, with all my love. Ask Ss to read the completed letter. *Post- reading. Ask Ss to close the book and list the things that Hoa does , and Hoa doesn’t do. + Get up early. + take morning exercise. + go to bed early. + play volleyball. + clean room. + wash clothes. + eat breakfast. -Ask Ss to write down , and read aloud the things they list. - Ask Ss to write the full sentences with the phrases. ( work in pairs)  I get up early everyday.  I always do morning exercise.  I never go to bed early. 4. Consolidation Retell again the content of the lesson. 5.
