Review: (Unit 1, 2, 3) I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to review some “Vocabulary” and some “main grammar points” in Unit 1,2,3. II- Language contents: 1-Vocabulary: The words from Unit 1 to Unit 3. 2- Grammar: Enough to; be going to; modals; reflexive pronouns. iII- Techniques: Lucky number, pairwork, groupwork. Warm-up: (Lucky number) T puts the wordsquare F R E S O C I A A Y S L I M G B I T E T H I N L R W R A F H B E * Answer Key: X J V E D F A T poster on the board and inform the topic. T divide the class into 4 teams Ask Ss to find 13 hidden words and write them on a piece of paper. Telll Ss the team to find out the most right words will get 2 points. 2. Activities: Activity 1: a) Pre-teach “Enough to”: T reviews the structure. T gives the using, form and meaning of it. T gives the using, the form and the meaning of it. b) Exercise: T asks Ss to do exercise 2. Call some Ss to go to the board and write their answers. T checks and corrects. - “be going to”. * Form: S + be + going to + inf. * Use: Express an intention. * Meaning: (Dù ®Þnh hµnh ®éng t¬ng lai). 2. Write sentences. Say what the people are going to do. a) My brother has won some money. (buy a new car). b) Linh is studying medicine.(be a doctor). c) Mi and Thi have bought some English books. (learn English). Activity 3: a) Pre-teach “Modals”. T reviews the structure. T gives the form and the meaning of it. b) Gap filling exercise: T use the flip-chart with sentences of exercise 3. Asks Ss complete them. T calls some Ss to go to the board and write them. T checks and corrects. Activity 4: a) Pre-teach “reflexive pronouns” T calls one Student to review “reflexive pronouns” before the calls. Ss go to the board and write. T checks and corrects. - “modals”. * Form: - have to/ has to + inf. ph¶i (lµm g×). - Ought to/ should + inf nªn ( lµm g×). 3.
