Aims : - By the end of the lesson, the students are able to scan reading for specific information. - By the end of the lesson, the students are able to skim reading for general ideas. II. Warm- up & lead- in (3’) Games: Jigsaw Reading. - Arrange the class in four or five groups - Give each group a handout with phrases of explanation on. - Tell Sts to read the phrases and find out the words, then combine the first letters of all these words to form the key word. - The first group to find it will win the game - Sts start the game. - Declare the winner. - Ask Sts : - What is Experience? - Have you ever been in embarrassing situations? - What was it?
