1 PROJECT CLIENT AND TEAM MEMBERS:

The project's client is Baby Hut Company Members involved in thisproject:

This start-up project was brainstormed at first by three youngentrepreneurs Peter Hamill, James George and Angel White What distinguishesBaby Hut from the others is that, while the others may have more advancedequipment, Baby Hut can provide more: pickup and delivery, a wider range ofequipment, and the ability for customers to purchase them Recently, the chainhas been looking for ways to better serve its customers by utilizing online andmobile technologies

The website will be able to do a lot If a customer wants to rent or buybaby equipment, this website will provide whatever is available at the store Theproduct can be ordered online through the delivery and pickup service, and therewill be a discount on special occasions The store will also provide loans All

purchases will accrue points in your account, which can be used to obtainadditional benefits Additionally, all purchase data will be saved and, if necessary,modified by authorized employees The data stored on the website will be safeand secure User data will be thoroughly encrypted, and each store will beresponsible for and have access to only its data.

According to the requirements, the staffs just have some basic office skillsuch as Office working tools and the owners of the organisation only has a basicknowledge of the IT field so the website interface must be simplified and easy tomaintain later in the future However, if there are some businesses changing in thefuture such as newcomers arriving to work, the solution for this issue should betraining new employees about how they have to be adapted to this organisation assoon as possible

In the general, a website is built by our team for Baby Hut so that thecompany will provide their clients with new opportunities for various choices, forinstance, renting or purchasing will be available online as well help the businessrun efficiently

Each has its advantages, but the latter should be a better choice since it willnot discourage new employees

3 PROBLEM AND PROJECT SCOPE:

Problem:

To manage the rental and sale of baby gear, each store now has its ownsoftware, but they are not interconnected Only the programs included in the MSOffice software suite are available as of right now For management purposes,each store creates a unique report that is forwarded to the corporate headquarters,where James aggregates the information for the firm as a whole The consumer

relies solely on the store manager's and staff's knowledge of the available infantequipment to provide guidance on where to get it and how to go about getting itbecause each store has a list of titles available through the company but not what

is kept in other stores

The following are the scope of this project:

 Designing a website that can be used for both sales and servicemanagement

 Design a synchronous information system that can help the company'sstores easily process and manage data

 Installing a server at the company's headquarters to host and store all data

 Design a user-friendly website, the website displays the products as well asthe price accurately and reasonably

 A website for client

4 METHODOLOGY

To solve the client's problem, we employ Agile methodology This methodapproaches development in an iterative manner, allowing you to solicit clientfeedback after each cycle and implement accordingly

Agile life cycles include several iterations or increment steps towardproject completion Iterative approaches promote velocity and adaptabilitybecause you can adjust your product to meet the needs of your customer ratherthan following a rigid plan Agile has a set of core values

 Concentrate on people and interactions rather than processes or tools

 Comprehensive documentation is less important than working software

 Contract negotiation is less important than customer collaboration

 Rather than following a plan, respond to change

We have divided our work into 2 sprints:

First sprint (from November 22 – December 8 nd th ):

In this first sprint, we will collect and gather the requirements from theclients for analysing and choosing interface and technology for implementation

Besides, creating the mockup and prototype for the clients to get the review andfeedback from them.

Analysing and gather requirements (From November 22 to November 27 nd th ):

We are using Wordpress to create the website product:

o Free to use and install, easy to modify and match the requirements

o Having diversity of Themes andd plugins that suit the requirements

of the shopping website

o Easy to manage information and easy to connect with variousdomain creators, simple backup through Jetpack or other plugins,domain site management

Presenting the prototype (From November 28 to November 29 th th ):

 Depicting the prototype for feedback and review to stakeholders andclients

 Identifying the system requirements specification

Designing (From November 30 to December 4 th th ):

Designing seven main pages for the website include: Homepage, Shop,About us, Feedback, Contact us and Meet the founders

Choosing Astra Theme for designing UX UI, designing logo, main contentfor each pages and footer for the website

Homepage: showing some vision and scope of the website among the mainfeatures and information of the company

Shop: showing the products and checkout pages

About us: showing a blog about the company background and scope

Contact us: showing a form for any problems or misunderstadinginformation about the products or company

Testing result and client’s feedback (From December 20 to December 29 th th ):

Baby Hut has tested the website and given us some feedbacks about the interface,function and plugins

Wordpress theme: nicely designing and suitable for purpose of the company, easynavigation

Website functionality:

Elements:

Header: very elegant but difficult in seeing text because of the color

Navigation: clear and suitably arranged.

Footer: Good design, informative

Homepage:

Good animatons and information with beatiful transitions

Shop:

Good with searching, filter and category links

Renting option available

Having taxes, coupons and shipping systems

Account: No account system

Plugins: many plugins have been implemented but some of them are not using

Second sprint (From December 29 to above): th

After receiving feedback from our client, we decided to fix some problemsthat were discovered in this sprint, such as adding an account system or reducingthe number of plugins Before delivering to clients, the final product will bethoroughly tested

5 RESULTS

The website can work perfectly for selling purposes and managing sales.The website provides a range of company products and rental services, … Thiscontains 10 pages with different functions which help customers can use it easilyand comfortably All these functions will be described more in the “User Guide”documentation

The admin site, website has some functions to help managers can keeptrack of the activities of the company You can enter the link https://live-g3babyhut.pantheonsite.io/wp-admin/ to access the site admin For example,website provide the managing products function or the generating sale datafunction All these functions will be described more in the “User Guide”documentation

How the results solve the problem:

The website can boost the volume of orders because orders can beprocessed more quickly with just a few easy operations, which helps businessowners grow their enterprises With the website, the business owner may nowmanage company activities directly from the internet, relying less on accountants'work, which frequently results in more mistakes than an automated website Thewebsite does not currently include specific information about each store, but infuture updates, such features will be introduced so that customers may decidewhich store to order from and save time by placing their order for a product that

is in stock at the closest store Customers can read the website's feedback pageand review each product to learn more about the products or to get some helpfultips Additionally, throughout this pandemic, customers can easily order andreceive products via shipping

 In order to fix bugs or system faults as quickly as possible, check systems

or perform maintenance on a regular basis

 If clients notice any errors, please let the staff know so we can prevent anymajor issues from occurring

 Use computer security software and refrain from sharing web sources orweb material with any form of the third parties

 Before utilizing the internet, ask a team member if users have anyquestions regarding the website

7 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE

In conclusion, our website is quite good, but there are still some issues Wehighly recommend some features that can help BabyHut grow better in the future

 The company don’t provide many choices for customers BabyHut shouldincrease more products for customers

 Adding the chatbot for customer consulting

 Adding customer account service for better shopping
