III ACHIEVEMENT REPORT

3.1 Introduction:

This report is about the project we worked on as a team Our group consisted of 4 members, including Nguyễn Mạnh Tiến, Nguyễn Hải Ly, Vương Quỳnh Chi, Nguyễn Phương Nhung, and we were assigned to work on school violence The purpose of this report is to summarize our project and our contributions as individuals and as a team The group was created by chance.Initially, the members did not know each other, but after she assigned a big assignment, they randomly got acquainted and made friends to form 1 group of 4 members

3.2 Project Summary:

The project was assigned to us on 01/09/2023 and it was expected to be completed within 03/11/2023 Our team takes on the task of solving problems of shool violence and worked collaboratively to achieve them

Our first step was to establish clear communication channels, define roles and responsibilities, and set expectations The team had regular meetings, where we discussed progress, challenges, and feedback

Our group utilized academic tools such as Google Translate, Tflat, capcut, task lists, and deadlines, to ensure that we stayed on track We also used technology effectively by using online platforms like Google Meet, messenger, zalo, and Google Drive to keep in touch and share information

The project involved a variety of tasks like research, planning, design,

development, and testing Our team successfully carried out all stages of the project as requested by the instructor, with the support of the instructor our team created a functional and quality product that met the expectations and requirements of lecturer ThS Trần Thị Thu Thủy

3.3 Individual and Team Contributions:

Each team member had individual responsibilities and made valuable

contributions to the project For example, Mạnh Tiến was instrumental in project

planning, Quỳnh Chi played a significant role in design, while Hải Ly, Phương Nhung was critical to testing and quality assurance

As a team, we worked collaboratively, communicated effectively, and supported each other in our tasks We celebrated our achievements, addressed conflicts, and resolved challenges together as a team

3.4 Conclusion:

In conclusion, our team successfully executed our project and achieved our goals

We worked well as a team, capitalized on our individual strengths, and utilized project management tools and technology effectively We were also able to deliver a quality product that met the expectations and requirements of our clients It was a valuable learning experience as we improved our skills in collaboration, communication, and project management

IV THE SCRIPT

4.1 Situation:

A classmate of your son committed suicide last week because of school violence You and other parents have a conversation about this unfortunate death and try to find solutions to reduce this situation

4.2 Script

Chi: Hey everyone, do you know what’s going on? One of our children's classmates,

N, committed suicide last week due to being bullied at school

Ly: It's really heartbreaking My condolences to the family, N What happened? Tiến: It's truly devastating Did N leave any notes or messages explaining why they

took this step?

Chi: Yes, the death of N left some messages It's a painful reminder that we must do

something to prevent this from happening again

Nhung: According to the latest data, during a school year, there are nearly 1,600

fights between students nationwide We need to take action and ensure our children are safe at school

Ly: I agree with Nhung We need to have appropriate solutions to prevent this

situation

Chi: I’m also terrified of my son being in the same situation as N I think I will talk

more to him and usually start important dicussions about violence What do you think about it?

Nhung: Oh, encouraging our children to talk openly about their experiences at school

is a good idea We can let them know that we're here to listen and support them anytime, anywhere

Tiến: Nearly 720 million school-age children live in countries where corporal

punishment in schools isn’t prohibited School need to advocate for comprehensive anti-bullying programs and have severe penalties for such actions

Ly: It is a good idea but most children can be scared and don't want to reveal it to

others

Tiến: I think so, too.

Nhung: Oh, why don’t we try teaching and warning them about the danger of

violence when they were young?

Ly: Exactly! The most common age group for school violence is 12-17 years old when

they are quite young Maybe because their parents haven’t really followed them closely

Tiến: I completely agree with Nhung At that time, parents can easily influence their children During their maturation, we also need to teach our children the necessary skills to avoid violence

Chi: That is not enough I think children will have their own plans and goals for their

lives and we should not force our children to do what they want

Tiến: I’m not sure What if that dream is not suitable for them? We can give them

advice that best suits them

Nhung: I don’t think so We had better support children’s dream and give them advice

when they need

Ly: Sounds good Besides, let's teach our children about love, kindness and respect for

others

Chi: That’s right I heard that in the first 4 months of the year, the numbers of school

violence cases has increased by 11% compared to the same period last year Teaching children how to control themselves and protect others who are being builled is a way

to reduce it

Nhung: Wow! We have many solutions to reduce school violence.

Ly: Please implement these ideas and don't let anyone else have to go through the

same regret as N

Chi: OK, let’s do them.
