Tools: Through the process of learning and developing the project, my team and I decided to use the Arduino IDE software to code and the Blynk app to build the system interface
Hardware: The hardware we use for the smart bin includes: NodeMcu ESP8266, ultrasonic sensor HC - SR04, sound sensor, Servo, Module Ultrasonic Misting and Bread board In it, there will be 2 ultrasonic sensors, a sensor that senses the distance between the person and the trash can, and a sensor that measures the distance of the trash to the mouth of the bin to determine when the trash can is full

The ultrasonic sensor will determine the distance from the user to the trash can, if it is within the set distance, the trash can will automatically open for 3 seconds and then close automatically

Trang 17When no one is near the trash can, the lid will be closed by default and when we look on the Blynk app, the LCD screen shows "Closing".
When someone approaches or puts their hand close to the sensor within a preset distance of 0cm 22cm, the trash can lid will automatically open and when viewed on the LCD of the Blynk app, it willdisplay "Opening", and after 3 seconds the trash can close by itself

Advantages

The design of the trash can is discreet, with the use of plastic garbage bags, so it is very clean,easy to clean, not dirty
The product is compact and easy to mount against the wall Our smart trash can has a cheaperprice than the market
Smart trash cans have tight lids, so the smell of waste is greatly limited, avoiding affecting others

Our IoT smart trash cans are designed with the needs of the users in mind and used by them So, for agood product and a good user experience, we have prepared some interview questions We have notedand will modify the project according to the most real needs of the customer In the end, we can design auseful, simple, cheap, and useful IoT product for everyone's life

Trang 31Smart trash cans help people not have to touch the trash directly with their hands, helping to reduce the risk of contracting infectious diseases Smart trash bins are also being used in developed countries around the world, including the United States, Canada, and China… to prevent harmful and infectious Therefore, Smart trash bin was created to solve all the problems and inconveniences faced by users as a result of the global pandemic Garbage is a breeding ground for a variety of bacteria that cause human diseases, puttingindividuals at risk of contracting a variety of deadly infectious diseases However, with the smart trash can, you won't have to touch the rubbish every time you want to toss it out It's created in a compact shape that's easy to fit in the house or on the street without taking up too much space, and it's also inexpensive Our smart trash can is also cost-effective However, compared to similar-priced goods, our smart trash bin has significant limitations, such as the inability to seal the bag's opening and the inability to sort waste.

The habitat of pathogenic bacteria for humans is garbage, we are all very susceptible to disease if we do not prevent them To solve that problem, smart trash cans will help you not have to be in direct contact with the mouth of the bin Moreover, the trash can is small and light, easy to clean and put in the house Inparticular, my group's smart trash can is cheaper than the market price Although the price is cheaper, compared to the smart trash can on the market, our smart trash can has limitations such as not being able
to sort garbage by itself and not sealing the mouth of the bag by itself

It's all about smart trash bin Although it still has some flaws, we will continue to improve it in the future for a better user experience
2 Compare the final application with original plan
Compared to the original design, we just want to create a trash can that can automatically open when the user approaches We will research and develop technology that can separate garbage and close the mouth
of the bag The project is now on track to complete and on the right track

Trang 33We will improve the smart trash in the near future after gathering user feedback We'll undertake further study on the upgrade project, and the future upgrade will almost certainly include the ability to seal bags and sort waste.
Conclusion
Through this assignment 2, I learned a lot about IoT and completed the smart trash can project People who have used the product experience have appreciated the project Furthermore, the product has some bugs that need to be fixed in the future
