Introduction The introduction to the thesis serves: ● the classification of the topic to be worked on in a superordinate topic complex, ● the delimitation according to the question, ● the presentation of the problem, ● the derivation of the objective The introduction covers the following points: ● Introduction of the topic, classification of the topic in the overarching topic complex, brief description of the current study situation and any gaps in research (approx 1-2 pages) ● Transition to the question and objective of the work (including the specific hypotheses where applicable) ● possibly background on the topic, if necessary, but no detailed description of textbook knowledge (agreement with supervisor required) objective ● Description of the research goal → What would you like to investigate or achieve with the work? ● The objective can appear as a subchapter/at the end of the introduction or be integrated into the work as a separate chapter Methods The Methods chapter includes information on: ● Databases used for literature research ● the research period ● the keywords or keyword combinations used with the respective hit rate ● Criteria for the selection of the publications used, which must be tailored to the objective of the work The part is supplemented by a description of how many studies were not included in the work, or how many were used/selected and discussed This is made very transparent by an additional graphical representation as a PRISMA flow diagram The template is available at: http://www.prismastatement.org/documents/PRISMA%20English%20flow%20diagram.pdf?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport =1 Results ● Presentation of the selected studies by identifying the study design and those for which Results relevant to the question are listed ● Present studies as comparable as possible ● Linking of the text part with the tabular overview of the studies Discussion Generally ● The discussion includes a short summary of the results ● The content of the work should be reflected and discussed in a continuous text ● Delimitation of the main content by paragraphs/subheadings ● Creation and processing of relationships/references to facts from the previous chapters ● Presentation of the strengths and limitations of the work ● Creation of a conclusion and outlook Systematic literature research ● Comparative presentation and discussion of the various studies with regard to the examination parameters Conclusion ● brief rendition of the most important contents of the respective chapters (brief summary) ● At the end, the conclusion provides an answer to the question formulated in the objective ● Outlook and suggestions for further research resulting from the discussion Formulate the latter specifically, not simply "further studies are necessary" ● No literature sources required ● The conclusion can appear as a subchapter/at the end of the discussion or be integrated into the work as a separate chapter Important is that a clear red thread can be seen The question described in the introduction should be answered in a meaningful order in the results and analyzed in the same, structured form in the discussion part Compliance with the requirements reflects the necessary discussion and simultaneous focus on the topic and is therefore a quality and evaluation criterion ● Introduction and methods approx 2/5 of the work ● Results about 2/5 of the work ● Discussion about 1/5 of the work
