MINISTRY OF EDUCATION & TRAINING MINISTRY OF JUSTICE HANOI LAW UNIVERSITY INFORMATION SHEET ON NEW RESEARCH FINDINGS IN THE DOCTORAL DISSERTATION Dissertation title: The law on the enterprises' righ to equal treatment in Vietnam Speciality: Economic Law; Code: 62.38.01.07 Doctoral candidate: Do Thi Kim Tien Supervisor: Assoc Prof Dr Duong Dang Hue Training institution: Hanoi Law University SUMMARY OF NEW RESEARCH FINDINGS Built on preceding research works, the dissertation has new scientific contributions to the systematic and comprehensive analyses of the law on the enterprises’ right to equal treatment in Vietnam, specifically: First, the dissertation is the first research work to clarify the nature of equality among enterprises and the enterprises’ right to equal treatment It has been stated in the dissertation that the enterprises’ right to equal treatment does not conflict with priority or restraint policies as applied to investment and business Secondly, the dissertation has worked out the concept of the enterprises’ right to equal treatment, the criteria, components and significance for esuring the enterprises’ right to equal treatment Thirdly, the dissertation has clarified weaknesses of the law on the enterprises’ right to equal Vietnam as well as major causes thereof Fourthly, the dissertation has made comprehensive recommendations for improving the current law on the basis of selectively accepting international legal experiences In addition, the dissertation can serve as a useful reference document for researchers, trainers, policy and law makers to enable them to respond to the demands of the economy and international integration SUPERVISOR Assoc Prof Dr Duong Dang Hue POST-GRADUATE RESEARCHER Do Thi Kim Tien
