attend a great primary school while growing up as a young boy, where I learned a number of important life lessons Today, I would like to talk about one of those important lessons The lesson that I learned was that we should always remain true to ourselves Of course, I already knew that telling the truth to others was very important, but I wasn’t familiar with the idea of being true to myself until I reached 5th grade In fact, I learned about this important lesson in a rather hard way when I failed to finish my own science project on time Anyway, the science project, I chose, was a rather difficult one However, before assigning the project, my science teacher had repeatedly asked me if I would be able to finish it on time as it was a difficult one But, I pretended that I was fully capable of pulling off any project, no matter how difficult it was, even though I knew that the project would pose a major challenge to me I still accepted that project only because I didn’t want to show my weaknesses to others Besides, I also wanted to create some “wow” factor among my classmates But, as the time for submitting the project was approaching, I was becoming nervous because I wasn’t going anywhere close to finishing my project So, I asked for some additional time from my teacher, and he agreed But, I still couldn’t finish the project on time, leaving me embarrassed in front of my other classmates And, at that time, I realized that I should have been true to myself, having some clear idea about my own ability and skills Anyway, the lesson, I learned in my primary school, had always forced me since then to analyse any situation thoroughly by taking time before making any decision whether they were big or small Besides, this particular lesson also had taught me to be humble in front of others even if I had enough reasons to boast Model Answer 2: khoảng 735 từ I had not once learned valuable lessons in life One of the life lessons that I learned is to be thankful and appreciate for those that around me Maybe it is true that we not appreciate what we had until we lost them and there are moments in life that when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them out from your dream and hug them for real I did not experience these until my grandmother passed away My grandmother was the one that watches me grow up and takes care of me when I was a little girl because my parents had to work and were away from home She loved me so much that she would anything for me but I did not realize this until she passed away Since she was the only adult at home she had to all the household chores and takes care of me at the same time Everyday after school, she would wait for me at the doorway and asks me what I wanted to eat for lunch and she would cook the food for me immediately Every times when I go out to play with my friends she would asks me where I was going and when I'm going to be home, so that she knows when to prepare the dinner for me As I grow older, I started to hate the way that she waits for me everyday at the doorway and asks me where I was going I told her that I am older now and that she doesn't have to treat me like a little girl anymore However, she continued to act the same way as usual One day when I came home from school and saw her standing there waiting for me, which I did not expected, I was very angry and had a big argument with her I yelled at her and told her that I am older now and that I not need her anymore She did not say anything to me and I ran out the house I came home very late that night and walk up to my room quietly I was surprised to find a bow of rice and two plates of dishes on the table in my room I did not eat the food and dump the whole thing into the trash can The next morning I woke up early and went to school without saying anything to her Two months later my parents decided to immigrate to America My mother told me that my grandmother said that she did not wanted to go with us to America because she felt that she is too old and would just be an encumbrance for the family I was depressed that I had to leave the place where I grew up but at the same time I was glad that my grandmother is not leaving with us In the airport on the day that I was leaving, she told me to take care of myself when I get there and it is the first time that I saw her cried I wanted to cry too when I saw the tears rolling down from her face, but I turn my head away and did not even say good bye to her After arrived in America, I was occupied with learning English and did not call home to her even though I heard from my parents that she became really sick after we left I remember that it was on a cold December day when I heard the news from my parents that my grandmother had passed away After hearing the news, I can not help it and the tears continue to roll down from my face In my heart, I felt that something that is always there is suddenly gone and I can not stop crying Four years had passed since my grandmother passed away Every time when I look at her pictures, the tears just begin to roll down from my face I felt very regret for never apologize to her for the argument that we had and all the strong words that I had said to her I felt very regret for never thank her for all the things that she had done for me If, I had another chance, I would tell her that "I love you grandma." Model Answer 3: 318 từ "Primary or elementary school" is our first educational institute and we start learning many new things there This is the place where the foundation of a pupil is built and that’s why things we learn in our primary school remain with us for a long One important lesson that I learned from primary school is "the value of time" In every stage of our life, we have to value time and this lesson has helped me throughout my life I learned it throughout the years I studied in this school I was only years old when I got admitted into a school and had been there till I became 10 Our teachers told many stories and gave examples from history and real events about the value of time From my life experience, I have also learned and understood it In fact, our lives are nothing but a collection of time We have so many things to and achieve to make our lives meaningful Besides, we have our duties and responsibilities and those duties and responsibilities changes over time So being able to things in their perfect time is the main mantra of a successful life I have learned that time is priceless and we can never get it back once it is gone So utilising it is the most important task in our life Everything has a perfect time, and no matter how much effort we put, we can’t change the actions and their consequences I have learned that, if I underestimate the importance of time, and ignore things that I should have done, they come back like boomerangs Accomplishing things in time and doing them with dedication is the first rule to achieve success Whenever I have evaluated time and worked accordingly, I had been able to fulfil my aim and expectation When I neglected time and kept things undone, I regretted it Memory of Childhood Day Model Answer 1: 459 từ Childhood is the best part of life and often people regret for the days that they have left in their childhood I also miss the days and remember the day when I was taken to school for getting admission in the beginners’ class The first day of my school is still vivid in my memories and I can recall the day exactly I had started my education at the Delhi Public School in Faridabad, Haryana in India This was an excellent place for me and I had formed the friendship with the other mates of my class But on the first day, the experience was something different and in this present days, I realise how special the day was for me I was a boy of six years old when I entered at the school premise Everything inside the school campus was new to me and I also was a bit concerned about the issues as this was a different experience for me It broke the regular routine of my childhood life Earlier I used to get up late in the morning but on this day, I had to wake up earlier and get dressed for the school I also had to take breakfast earlier than the other days and my parents advised me in different ways while the top most important advice I heard on that day that I have to behave nicely with everyone, and I was not allowed to move here and there in the school When I entered the principal’s room, I saw a man of middle age was sitting behind a large desk and his face was smiling when he noticed me But I was feeling nervous for some unknown reasons Then the principal (I came to know later that he was the principal of the school) asked me about my name and family Then he also asked about some simple mathematical issues and I replied perfectly as my parents have trained me on the issues The Principal also asked me about the names of the weekdays and the name of months in a year Finally, he had some other talks with my parents and permitted them to admit me to the school The effect of the first day was great for me in rest of my life I was interviewed by the principal and passed with success In fact, this was the seedling of success in my life and gradually it made me confident Though it was smaller interview for me and I was entirely ignorant of the issue that I am being interviewed This has made me stronger and whenever I am in any test, I am not afraid those anymore The first test of my life has built confidence in me Model Answer 2: 450 từ No other parts of life are as good as childhood and thus everyone long for it always Even I also want to go back in my past days when I made lots of fun The days are vivid in my memory and especially the day when I went to the Sozo Water Park in Lahore Sozo Water Park is one the most popular amusement and the largest water park in Lahore, Pakistan and the modern city dwellers are highly entertained by it This is, in fact, the brainchild of three friends who got the idea to establish such a park when they went into a visit in another country Now, this is a complete amusement park with different facilities for the visitors They enjoy sliding on water and the other thrilling adventures I was a boy of eight or nine years old when I first went to the Sozo Water Park It was a family trip to the park as one of my maternal uncles had arrived home from abroad So, he took us all to the park to get some adventures and thrills on water and other rides Thereby, as part of the family, I also went to the park and had some fun with the other family members including my cousins Being a small child, I almost enjoyed all the water slides and dry rides Since some of our family members had the chance to visit the park earlier, it was nothing new for them rather they enjoyed the most than the others But it was the very first visit for me So, I tried to understand about the rides and then rode on them I enjoyed most the water slides and got highly thrilled Sliding down from a higher level is really enjoying but when the sliding began, I was a bit afraid I could not believe that I would go down with water Moreover, when the fall began, I clinched the piece of board that took me to the downstairs Once the fall was done I felt that I should go again as I could not enjoy the first ride due to fear of falling out of the track Though the rides were only for fun, they had some positive impacts on my life They have made me adventurous and now I am not afraid anymore to participate in any adventures or activities that may make me feel afraid Besides, when it is about participating in any newer activities, I become thrilled Actually, the fear that I had in my mind of being a failure had vanished forever The rides and water slides have made me bold enough to face any such apparently fearsome real-life situations An experience that changes you for the better Model Answer 1: 341 từ An experience that changed my life is the COVID-19 pandemic This event has happened unexpectedly and managed to affect the whole world, myself being no exception The coronavirus has taken many lives while forcing countries to go on lockdown and introduce a variety of preventive measures against contamination Even though I was lucky enough not to lose any loved ones to the virus, living in New York has given me a taste of the massive changes caused by the COVID infection As a freshman year college student, I was expecting to have a lot of fun However, instead of parties and social gatherings, my group mates and I have faced distance learning and strict lockdown measures Yet, the first-year college students agreed to arrange a zoom call to get to know each other, and I have already managed to make some friends! Meeting them in person, as the lockdown measures softened, was a one-of-a-kind experience Besides, I had more time to spend with my family members! Studying online is also not easy I feel like distance learning puts a lot more responsibility on the students' shoulders, requiring more motivation and self-discipline After several tries, I have managed to come up with a strategy that allows me to be productive The lockdown also made me pay attention to those in need Somehow, before the pandemic, I was rather numb to the issues going on in real life in the other parts of the world and even in my own country However, nowadays, one of my strongest desires is to contribute to charitable organizations and become a volunteer for a cause I believe in whenever the situation allows The COVID-19 pandemic has affected my lifestyle a lot As an extrovert, I found self-isolation extremely challenging However, the global situation has taught me that being flexible and knowing how to adapt is a crucial quality in today's world I have become more empathic and have found a calling for improving the world All these factors make the pandemic a truly life-changing experience for me Model Answer 2: 317 từ Well, changing is the law of nature and everyone also faces a different type of change in life I also faced a lot of lifechanging experiences during school and college life But here I would like to share a life-changing experience I remember that day when I was 5th standard as well that time I was a backbencher so I did not have confidence I did not have any friend in me and I did not share any problem with classmates and teachers Interesting, one day my English teacher called me the staff room and he asked me you have any family or financial problems I said no mam I not have any problem So, she told me, why you don’t take participate in any sports day, function and other class activities with it, that time I shared my problem, my teacher Actually, mam, I not have confidence and I also don’t able to speak in front of anyone That time my teacher gave a motivational speech which was very affected for me After that, I sat on the first bench as well as I talk with my classmates and I also make friends from different classes The most interesting thing, after one month of that speech, I also took participate in sports day and class activities That time my English teacher was shocked to see my confidence Moreover, that time was the best time of life and that day I felt amazing because before it I did not participate in any type of activity But now I have a lot of confidence and I share my ideas without any hesitation So, I learned confidence is very important as well as change is also necessary for everyone’s life The most important thing, change is the law of nature and plants, animals and other natural things also change during the proper and perfect period of time Model Answer 3: 316 từ Well, change is an essential part of a human being’s life and it is normal However, sometimes it so happens that a sudden change takes place in our lives This change may be purely the result of different circumstances or the advice and idea of someone But here I would like to talk about a life-changing experience I remember that years ago when I did work in dream pies bakery which was situated into the central part of my hometown Unfortunately, the Bakery owner took the loan on the bakery but he did not pay a monthly installment Then, the bank ceases the Bakery Badly, that time Very difficult for me because that time I was jobless After it, I went to my friend Virat house and discussed my all problem with him Interestingly, he is a very intelligent person and gives me an amazing idea At that time, he told me, you have proper knowledge related to all Bakery work Then, you should start own business as compared to the job under the other person Apart from it, I bought a shop in the center of the local market and I started a small shop Then, I heard about the online business from my same friend One year later, I also started an online business In this, I receive an online cake, cookies, and other eatable things order as well as, I send all material on the same address through the transportation system Thankfully now I have five-story dream pies bakery in my hometown and 50 + worker work there According to my point of view, that change gives me a wonderful experience and opportunity Now I am a famous businessman in my city The most important thing, I also learn from that change if you take a higher risk then you also receive a higher profit in that business or work Model Answer 4: 359 từ Well, ups and downs come in everyone’s life I also face so many trouble full situations in my life however, here I would like to share with you a moment of my life which changed my whole life in a positive way years ago, I had to work in a multinational company as an assistant accountant At that time, my company faced a difficult time and they started to terminate the employees I remembered that day when they gave me the notice to work at a low salary otherwise leave the company It was quite difficult for me to take a decision of lifting the company Unfortunately, I lost my job and I did not have any other source of income So that I was feeling depressed and stressed and always thought that how to start new work or what to next That was the situation when I  started losing my confidence As a result of it, all the negativities comes in my mind and I also felt lethargic and helpless Suddenly, one night I was using my mobile then I saw a video of Sandeep Maheshwari After watching this video my thinking was totally changed The name of the video was a life-changing seminar in this video, he motivated the audience about how to live happy in a difficult situation He is a great motivational speaker who changed the way of thinking After watching this, I bolt my confidence level as well as inner personality development All the negativity now turned into positivity By the grace of God, now I am running my own business and  I am quite happy with my work I learned so many things from my difficult situation Firstly, never lose hope and be confident Apart from it, always your best without the worry of the result Last but not least, hard work is the key to success If you hard work then one day you will definitely gain success All in all, that difficult time was give me a life-changing experience Now my whole life is changed and I achieved name and fame, encourage, positivity and self-confidence as well An experience that makes you grow up quickly Model Answer 1: 496 từ I was always a childish kid My doctor told me that I developed slower than my peers She said I would always be two years younger than my actual age But that changed for me one day when I was 16 years old I was attending a career center instead of my high school The way the bus schedule worked though was weird After school was over, we had to get on a bus to return to our “home school” and then get on another bus to go home Since we got back to our home school so late, the bus that took us home also took home the elementary school kids It wasn't so bad All the kids wanted to sit by the “big kid" So I alternated where I sat everyday On this particular day I sat between a brother and sister A 5th grader and 3rd grader We all go through some life-changing experiences at some points of our life which eventually help us become the person we are I also have gone through such life-changing experiences in my life, and I would like to share one of them today It was about 15 years ago when I was still a young child and was living with my parents in a busy city Back then, I also liked to go out with my parents like any other children, whether they were going to some grocery shopping or visiting a stadium to watch an interesting game But, the rule was, when going outside anywhere with my parents, I needed to remain close to them all the time, no matter what the situations outside would be Of course, I tried to stick to the rule as best as I could all the times, except on one occasion, when my parents had taken me to a stadium to watch a football match If I remember it correctly, it was a final match between two prominent football clubs in my country, and the stadium was packed with thousands of spectators After the match was over, my parents were very excited and celebrating with other supporters outside of the stadium, and with them, I also was in a celebratory mood But, while everybody was busy celebrating the victory, I suddenly found myself in a huge crowd which didn’t include my parents In other words, I was lost as I probably had forgotten the advice of my parents for a while Naturally, I felt very scared after getting lost and stood still where I was, hoping that my parents would find me   Not sure, how long I had waited in the crowd, but my parents luckily found me later on Needless to say, this scary incident changed my life for better, because after this incident, I have always listened to my parents and their advice, whether I liked them or not Besides, it was after this incident that I started to exercise maximum vigilance wherever I would travel.  Model Answer 2: 388 từ I was only or years old then and went to visit my grandpa in our village I had lots of cousins and many of them were similar to my age Visiting the village was very exciting for me One day I along with my cousins went to play in the evening and all of a sudden we decided to catch some fishes from the nearby pond We had no hook or net to catch fishes so we decided to it with our bare hands There were no people around so no one was there to warn us As we did not know how to swim and had no idea about the depthless of the river, we lost control and all of a sudden I found that I and my cousin were trying to get out of the water We already got ourselves trapped in the deep water and were struggling to breathe I barely remember what happened except that I was trying with my last effort to fight with water and get into the land I can't recall how much time had spent but suddenly I found that I was lying on my mother's lap and was trying to find my cousin who faced the same fate as I did Later I heard that both of us were almost sinking in the water and an old woman came to rescue us She was a village dweller who came to take water from the pond and had noticed us She single-handedly rescued me and then my cousin This event was a life-changing event for me After that event, I learned how important it is to stay closer to parents and to heed to their advice I also learned how fleeting our lives are and we out to help each other From then I also started respecting all sort of people of all ages and always believed in humanity When we are in danger, human (known and unknown) would come to rescue us So we should never disrespect the human and always keep faith in them The tragic part is that the grandson of the old woman who saved us died in the water of a river Knowing it I started strongly believing in fates and then the tests we are bound to face in our lives Model Answer 3: 245 từ My parent’s divorce when I was about 15 This was quite the catalyst for being called upon to step-up and grow up I worked and helped pay bills, watched my younger sister while my Mom went to Law School, made dinner on weeknights, took on many responsibilities around the house In my last year of high school, I only needed one class to graduate As a reward for my help, my parents bought me a car I went to my class, then worked part time in a law office The month after I graduated from high school, my mom was in a relationship with the man who later became my step-father They were planning on moving onto the next step of their relationship, moving in together For many reasons, I did not want to move in that direction, so I moved on, worked full-time and went to school when I could Managing bills was perhaps the biggest new challenge that I had to deal with I suppose it would have been nice to have a more carefree teen-age life, go to college full-time like the rest of my friends I still managed to have a lot of fun I certainly made a lot of mistakes along the way, but who doesn’t? I not regret or resent those times, as I have lived a good life and it was what it was back then I have had plenty of time to grow on from there A great challenge in your life Model Answer 1: 181 từ So, as you know, I’m currently a university student pursuing engineering The day they accepted me into this university is probably the most memorable and noticeable event in my life so far, and I was so happy since studying at this uni was my most anticipated dream during my high school years To elaborate, the uni is one of the best in terms of quality, so it is easy to see why most of my  peers and me included, aimed to join here For this reason, also, the race to this university was undoubtedly competitive Knowing the challenge that I was about to take on, I’d set clear goals and a study roadmap for myself so that I can perform my best in the standardized test, which is the test held nationally and annually to assess high schoolers’ performance.  Despite tons of hardships, I managed to satisfy the application requirements with flying colors I was over the moon the day I received the good news, in fact, I still feel thankful as my study environment here is extremely friendly and pleasant Model Answer 2: 224 từ Going to university has been a turning point in my life Personally, university life is a fresh start for me I parted from my family, said goodbye to the mountain town where I was born, and went on a journey that taught me a great deal Luckily, I did not suffer from homesickness like most of my friends did, yet I was thrilled to hold myself accountable for my own life It was the perfect chance for me to grow up Without my parents, I had to take care of my body and mind on my own I quitted the sedentary lifestyle I had been leading since high school years and took regular exercise, I even adopted a fitness regime, working out at the gym twice a week I replaced junk food with healthy eating habits Whenever I had mental health problems, I sought help from my friends who offered me emotional support and guided me through my struggles.  I was no longer addicted to social networking sites since the heavy workload and commitments I had from my studies and social life occupied most of my time The changes that the university brought to me are indeed tremendous and significant I have grown into a much more mature and responsible version of myself I will forever be thankful for this precious time at university.  A scariest moment in your life Model Answer 1: 312 từ One of the most terrifying moments in my life was when I went on a school fieldtrip to the Indian Ocean back in mid May of 2019 When we first arrived  A time when I was absolutely terrified was back in mid-May of 2019 when I went on a school fieldtrip to the Indian Ocean with my grade 12 class I was amazed at the beautiful scenery of Goa Beach with all of the palm trees, the golden sand and the deep blue ocean We stayed in bungalows along the beach with my 20 classmates and three teachers for three nights and four days I was extremely scared on the first day of activities since I’m not a strong swimmer, and I’d never swam in the open ocean before then I was really terrified of the big waves and for good reason It only took about half an our before a large wave caught me feet and pulled me into the ocean I tried to hold my breath as long as I could, but the wave kept pulling me under Eventually, I swallowed some seawater and started chocking At one moment, I thought I was done for and I would become fish food for the sharks and other sea animals Luckily, a lifeguard saw me and pulled me out to the beach.  The next day, our whole class was expected to go snorkelling, and I was shaking at the knees I worked up enough courage to join the group and I ended up having a lot of fun In the end, I look back on this experience with pride I have learnt to respect the power of the ocean and also to be more careful when dealing with a new and dangerous situation Also, I’m proud of myself that I didn’t give up, and since then I’ve become a much stronger swimmer Model Answer 2: 281 từ Being afraid of something, I believe, is a natural response of a human being to avoid danger We are fearful of different things as our ancestors were fearful in the time immemorial, or even in the time when we thought we have conquered darkness and lurking dangers just around the corner But, we, as human, are always frightened of the unknown, just the way I was, like billion others around the world, during the rigid and unprecedented lockdown period when Covid-19 was declared a global pandemic It was around March 2020 when the lockdown, which was pretty much like a curfew, was imposed nation-wide to stop the spread of the Coronavirus which was responsible for the death of so many people around the world The first two weeks were tough but doable considering the changing circumstances and our perceptions of new normalcy But after a couple of weeks, when the number of people who were tested positive soared rapidly and the death-toll kept on increasing, I felt very intimidated and afraid The news of some neighbours being infected by this yet incurable virus that can often be fatal made the situation worse I panicked, and the psychological pressure was just too much to bear I was anxious about the uncertainty of the situation, about my parents who were both over 60, about the fear of being contacted and then infected by the Coronavirus and the tough economic pressure that was mounting on me This was perhaps the only time when I felt completely trapped and clueless for so many weeks and being able to nothing about it It was such a situation that is comparable only to our worst nightmares Model Answer 3: 383 từ Life is full of experiences Some are sweet that make you happy while other incidents are sad and you don’t want to remember them often There are some moments in life that really scare you when they happen You are frightened at that time but years later when you think about the event it seems normal Here I am going to narrate an incident when I learnt to drive a four wheeler, a car It was years back when I started driving on my own but initially I just had a Learner’s licence One fine day my cousin who is older than me visited us and we both decided to go to the market to bring some groceries I was allowed to sit behind the wheel with a co driver I was happy to show off that how I can negotiate through the thick traffic too Parked my car smoothly in front of the shopping centre near my house The frightening incident occurred only when we returned to the car and stuffed the boot with all the shopping bags We both sat inside the car but as soon as I released the handbrake the car slid back and hit something I immediately went to the rear of the vehicle to inspect and to my disappointment I saw a barbed wire stuck in the rear of the car There were fine scratches also on the rear of the car This made me scared to death as I was certain that my father would be furious at me because he loved the car more than anything I drove the car very carefully on my way back and parked quietly in the garage of my house I went straight to my mother and confided in her I narrated to her how it happened She gave me the best advice of my life She told me that if I tell the truth then I wouldn’t have to remember later what I said To hide one lie, I would have to make up so many more So the next moment I went to my father and told him what had happened and to my amazement he laughed and said that it is a part of learning process He further added that he was proud of my honesty First day at School Model Answer 1: 229 từ Well! I have been to three different schools primary, secondary, and high school Seriously, I really don't remember about my first day in primary and secondary school, however, I remember when I was transferred from secondary to high school It was in Delhi, the capital city of India in the year 2009 As it was my first in the new school, I didn't know where was my classroom and which division I belongs to So it was searching for the class for almost an hour and still couldn't found the location At last, I found the teachers' room and I entered inside All teachers surprisingly looking at me because I went entered without asking their permission One of the teachers initially yelled at me about my behavior and I explained it's my first day in school Finally, the same teacher showed me my classroom Somehow I managed to search for a place to seat and settled down To my surprise, I found that a few of my previous school classmates were also in the class I introduce myself to the whole classroom and share my hobbies and carrier goals Overall, For me, this first day of school was a mixed feeling and I think I will never forget that day I always keep in touch every now and then with classmates and sometimes we have a get-together also Model Answer 2: 269 từ My first day at school was a completely new experience for me It is because the atmosphere completely changes for any child You always stay in the comfort and safety of your own home However, your first day at school opens door to unknown experiences and opportunities Much like any other child, I was also scared on my first day I remember clearly not letting go of my mother’s hand, hesitant to go in the classroom On my first day, I got up excited and put on my uniform for the first time The feeling it gave me was so memorable, I can never forget it As it was my first day, both my parents went to drop me off I remember seeing the classroom full of little children Some crying while the others playing with others I looked at my mother and gave her the look that I didn’t want them to leave They had to go so I kept crying but eventually, my teacher consoled me Once I settled in the class, I talked with the other kids and started playing with them The colourful walls of the classroom fascinated me a lot We got many toys to play with so it all the other kids also got distracted and stopped crying Thus, my first day at school was really pleasant It fills me with pride when I look back at it and share my experience with others I feel my first day helped me become confident in school which ultimately shaped the rest of my years there Thus, it was indeed a memorable experience for me Model Answer 3: 218 từ A school is a place of learning Here he forms new associations that comes in contact with boys of different temperaments and forms new ideas and habits It is here that he prepares himself for the struggle of life I was put to school at the age of five It was a primary school The memory of my first day at school is still fresh in my mind It was a small school with eight rooms There were ten teachers including the physical instructor The school had a compound with a grassy lawn and a few flower beds My father took me to the headmaster’s office and got me admitted to K.G.’s class He gave me a packet of toffees for distribution among my class-masters My class teacher was a gentleman He encouraged me and treated me kindly It felt a bit nervous in a new environment The boys looked at me with wonder and smiled I had with me the EnglishPrimer ‘Akshar Mala’ and got my first lesson of alphabets The bell of the interval rang The boy rushed out of their rooms Some of them gathered around me They laughed at me and made fun of me Some of them sympathised with me and saved me from rowdy boys Yet, I was nervous all the time The increase of medical health care cost 8.1 The costs of medical health care are increasing all the time Governments are finding it difficult to balance the health care budget Should citizens be totally responsible for their own health costs and take out private health insurance, or is it better to have a comprehensive health care system which provides free health services for all? Bai A health care system is a very important part of a country as it is a key factor for the developed countries Some countries take the responsibility of the citizen's health and provide free medical care whereas other countries think it is an individual’s responsibility I would support the second opinion as I believe that the health insurance is affordable and it helps to get the better services "Nothing is free in this world", this saying is true when it comes to free medical services Though some countries provide free medical facilities, they indirectly get that money from civilians via tax For instance, in Australia the health service is completely free, however, the income tax is as high as 35% On the other hand, the insurance could be economical For example, a person is earning a thousand dollars a week can afford 50 dollars for the insurance premium Moreover, if the income increases, it is not mandatory that the premium would also increase It is understood that some people might not be able to afford health expenses However, due to growing competition between insurance companies, many affordable plans are available in the market It could be argued that if an individual has to pay for his health, he can ignore it and that could result in an unhealthy nation in long-run However, a free service could encourage the unnecessary visits as well It is certainly an individual's responsibility to take care of his own health Moreover, if hospitals have only those patients who are unwell then they could provide better service For example, when a hospital has one hundred patients out of which only thirty patients are sick, hospitals still has to spend a considerable amount of time with other seventy patients Patients who are actually sick could receive a far better service and attention if the remaining seventy could be eliminated I believe a government could focus more on other areas like infrastructure development where individual cannot contribute Health care issue could be taken care by people with the help of insurance and better lifestyle Bai A much-debated issue these days is whether citizens should take out private health insurance or not The cost of providing free medical care for both the wealthy and the poor are far too great for any government, and most people agree that if you can pay for insurance, you should In this essay, I will argue that all who can afford it should be insured, but free medical care must be made available for those too poor to so The most important reason for encouraging people to take out private health insurance is the cost to the government of health care Free health cover for people who are able to pay for it is a waste of public money Of course, people will only pay health insurance premiums if they know that they are getting good value for their money If they get sick, they should pay very little or nothing at all In addition, the privately insured are entitled to special benefits such as having the choice of their own doctors and being able to avoid long waiting lists for hospital beds On the other hand, those who really cannot afford to pay private insurance premiums, which are often very high, are still entitled as citizens to the best medical care available – they cannot be expected to pay their own medical bills However, if they are working, they should still pay a percentage of their wage (say to 2%) as a tax which pays towards the cost of providing "free" medical services In conclusion, most people should privately insure their health, but it is unreasonable to suppose that all citizens can afford it Therefore, a safety net in the form of a basic free health care system must exist for the very poor and the unemployed 10
