need to be addressed in planning wind turbine plants The time in use of a wind turbine plant is normally not too long Therefore the calculation of the wind energy reserve at wind turbine site requires high level of accuracy One of the solutions is to measure the wind energy reserve in a long period of time to obtain accurate statistical data In this article, the author will present a model to calculate wind energy reserve at a certain location based on measurement data from other location near-by This model has high level of accuracy and the timing for actual measurement at the plant site
