Task uncompleted: Students can join in the game, recall the vocab or practice Q &A “Is this your TShirt?” “Yes, it is” in the previous lesson but with some difficulties d Organization Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Sing “Clothing Song For Kids” (Source: Dream English Kids https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFQxBCvgx70 Option 1: “Chalkboard Fun” game - Divide the class into four teams - Each student takes out a mini chalkboard, rag and a piece - Play the game in teams of chalk - The teacher prepares some flashcards or pictures and sticks Page of them on the board - The teacher points at the picture or flashcard then gives the students fifteen seconds to write down the word (E.g., hat) - When the time is up, all the students hold up the chalkboards - Give the team which has all the correct answers one point The team that gets the most points win Option 2: “Pass the balls” game - Teacher prepares some pictures/flashcards and stick them on the board - Give two different colored balls to two students, a red ball (ask the question) and a yellow ball (answer the question) - Have students listen to music and pass the balls - Stop music suddenly - Have the student with a red ball point to the flashcard/picture and make a question for the student who has yellow ball E.g., The student with the red ball will ask “Is this your (T-shirt)?” The student with the yellow ball will answer his/ her friend’s question Continue the game as the same way - Follow and as guided - Practice Q and A “Is this your TShirt?” “Yes, it is”!” B New lesson Task A Listen and repeat Trace (CD2 - Track 15) (6 minutes) a Objectives: Students will be able to listen, repeat, and trace letter V/v b Contents: Listening and repeating Tracing c Expected outcomes and assessment - Task completed with excellence: Students can listen, repeat, and trace letter V/v correctly - Task completed: Students can listen, repeat, and trace letter V/v - Task uncompleted: Students have difficulty in listening, repeating, and tracing letter V/v d Organization Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Listen and repeat Trace (CD2 - Track 15) - Play audio Have students listen and repeat - Follow T’s instructions - Demonstrate tracing the letters with your finger - Listen and repeat all together and - Have students work in pairs and trace the letters with their individually fingers - Trace the letters V/v with their Practice fingers Pair work - Have some students demonstrate the activity in class - Practice in class - Give feedback if necessary Task B Listen and repeat Write (CD1 - Track 16) (6 minutes) a Objectives: Students will be able to listen, repeat, and write letter v b Contents: Listening, repeating, and writing letter v c Expected outcomes and assessment - Task completed with excellence: Students can listen, repeat, and write letter v correctly - Play audio and have students listen - Listen and as guided - Have students look at the lyrics - Read the lyrics and actions following them - Do the actions individually/ chorally - Play audio and have students listen, sing along, and the actions - Have students make a new verse with the word "vest" - Make a new verse with the word and sing along the same melody as the first one "vest" and sing Task D Listen and jump (CD2 - track 18) (6 minutes) a Objectives: Students will be able to listen and jump b Contents: Listening and jumping c Expected outcomes and assessment -
