Creighton Federal to Hold Election of Board Members Creighton Federal will be holding its annual election of members for the Board of Directors The term of three current Directors is expiring All three have agreed to run for re-election They are: John Wick John has served as a Director of Creighton Federal Credit Union for over 32 years John joined the Board when the credit union merged with Archbishop Bergan Mercy Federal Credit Union in 1981 John has held several positions on the Board including Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Secretary, and was recognized as a Volunteer of the Year John is the Director of Fund Development for Outlook Nebraska Prior to this, John was a hospital financial consultant and retired as Director of Business Services from Mercy Midlands after 23 years of service John Wingender, Ph.D John is a Professor of Finance in the College of Business Administration at Creighton University, a position he has held for 15 years John has served as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs for the College of Business and as Chairman of the Department of Economics and Finance at Creighton He has served on the Board of the credit union for 10 years, currently as the Treasurer Prior to joining the Board, John served on the credit union's Supervisory Committee and on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma State University Employees Federal Credit Union He is a member of several professional organizations, serving as President of the Midwest Finance Association and of the Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning He has published over 40 articles in various referred business journals Teri Tipton, RN, C MSN Teri is the Vice President for Patient Care Services for Nebraska Methodist Health System Prior to this, Teri worked at Alegent Creighton Health Bergan Mercy Medical Center for 24 years, most recently as the Chief Nurse Executive Teri is a long time member of the credit union and has served as a Director since 2006 Teri is involved in several professional and community organizations including the Nebraska Office of Nurse Leaders, Visiting Nurse Association Board, and St Pius X Ministry Any member of Creighton Federal can nominate a candidate for the Board by petition Nominations from our members are encouraged To be eligible, a nominee must be a current member in good standing and present 103 signatures from other members The petition, signatures, and a statement of qualifications must be presented to: Creighton Federal Credit Union 2575 Dodge Street Omaha, NE 68131 by 5:00 p.m on Feb 21, 2014 If you have questions, contact John Krecek, Nominating Committee Chairman at 402-341-2121
