NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING NOMINATIONS FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS The annual meeting for your ACPE Federal Credit Union will be held on Wednesday, FEBRUARY 26, 2020 from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m in the lobby of the credit union There are two (2) positions open on the Board of Directors, with each vacancy serving a 3-year term If there are more than two (2) nominees for the two open vacancies, ballots will be mailed or sent electronically to all members no later than January 27, 2020 If there are only two (2) nominees and no other nominations by petition, there will be no election by mail or electronic ballot and the two (2) nominees will be elected by acclamation In order to give you the opportunity to vote at your convenience, this year’s balloting will be done by “mail and electronic ballot” ONLY, rather than by voting at the annual meeting There will be no nominations from the floor The following individuals have been verified as willing to serve if elected to the Board of Directors: Karen Gabriel (for years) Jessica Gibson (for years) A brief statement of qualifications and biographical information for each of the above nominees may be found on the back of this notice Additional nominations for the Board of Directors may be submitted as follows: By submitting a petition signed by one percent (1%) of the members (4,442) For the 2020 election, the number of signatures required on each petition is 44 A separate petition must be completed and submitted for each nomination Each petitioned nominee must submit a statement of qualifications, biographical information and a certificate stating nominee is agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected The above petitioned nominee information must be submitted to ACPE Federal Credit Union, 2835 E Grand Avenue, Laramie, WY 82070 no later than 5:00 p.m on January 17, 2020, Attention: Nominating Committee If you have questions, please contact Marcia at 307-745-4726 Respectively Submitted, Ami Egge, Secretary, ACPE Board of Directors Biographical Information: Karen Gabriel- Karen L Gabriel has lived in Laramie for 39 years She and her husband Tom are 1986 graduates of Laramie High School They own and operate Trade Tool Innovations, LLC Trade Tool Innovations is a full service machine shop that specializes in welding and fabrication projects The company is also home to the TTI Screedright Pro, a custom concrete tool She enjoys spending time with her three daughters, Lily, Sara and Amy Karen has a bachelor degree in Elementary Education from The University of Wyoming as well as a specialist degree in Lutheran Education from Concordia University Jessica Gibson- I was born and raised in Laramie My parents, Stan & Gina Gibson, have been members of ACPE for as long and I can remember So when I turned 15 it was only natural that my first bank accounts be started there as well I graduated from Laramie High School in 1999 I was recruited to the University of Mary on a Track Scholarship During that time I earned All-American and Scholar All-American awards I received my degree in Business Administration I moved back to Laramie in 2003 and began looking for jobs in WY & CO I kept finding jobs here in Laramie that were worth sticking around for In 2005 I got hired on at The Brown & Gold as the assistant to the Vice President I then moved to the position of Shipping, Receiving, & Invoicing This gave me a great opportunity to learn all the important aspect of running a successful business When the owners decided to sell the Screen Printing & Embroidery side of the company, my partner and I purchased it on December 31, 2012 We set it up as an LLC and kept its original name: Rocky Mountain Shirtworks It has been a great success
