Creighton Federal to Hold Election of Board Members Creighton Federal will be holding its annual election of members for the Board of Directors The term of three current Directors is expiring All three have agreed to run for re-election They are: Dan Burns Dan is a retired Staff Pharmacist at Alegent Health Bergan Mercy Medical Center where he completed a 40-year career with the hospital He previously served as Director of Pharmacy Services for 20 years In 1999 the Bergan Mercy Foundation, recognized Dan as its first Flag Day Honored Employee Dan has served as a member of the Creighton Federal Board of Directors since 1985 and has held several officer positions including Board Chairman In 1997, Dan was recognized as the credit union volunteer of the year John Krecek John is the retired University Registrar at Creighton University where he was employed for the past 38 years Prior to coming to Omaha, John was Assistant Registrar at the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he earned a M.B.A degree He is a member of numerous professional and community organizations John served on the credit committee of Creighton Federal Credit Union for six years, the last four as the chairperson In 1994, John was elected to the Board of Directors, has served as Board Secretary, and is currently in his ninth year as Chairman Stephanie Wernig Stephanie is the Senior Analyst for Institutional Research at Creighton University and has worked at the University for 25 years Stephanie was appointed to the Board in 2011 to fill the term of a retiring director Prior to serving on the Board, Stephanie was a member of the Supervisory Committee for years and has served as the Chairman of that group Any member of Creighton Federal can nominate a candidate for the Board by petition Nominations from our members are encouraged To be eligible, a nominee must be a current member in good standing and present 108 signatures from other members The petition, signatures, and a statement of qualifications must be presented to: Creighton Federal Credit Union 2575 Dodge Street Omaha, NE 68131 By 5:00 pm on Feb 22, 2012 If you have any questions, contact Jeff Branstetter, Nominating Committee Chairman at 402-341-5530
