role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the successful recruitment of international students, delivering excellence in customer services as part of a busy team and providing administrative support for all aspects of the recruitment, applications and admissions processes from first point of contact to enrolment The International team forms part of the wider Marketing and Recruitment team at NUA This post holder will have a high level of contact with potential international applicants and will support our commitment to inclusivity We are looking for a 11th October Interviews will be held on: Thursday 21st October Norwich University of the Arts Job description International Recruitment Administrator Reports to: International Recruitment Manager Job purpose Provide administrative support to the International Office Team who are responsible for international recruitment, marketing and admissions from point of enquiry through to enrolment Main responsibilities Supporting delivery of international recruitment events  Manage online/in person international recruitment event bookings and associated communications  Collate and organise department presentations, media and marketing materials for international recruitment activities  Generate international recruitment and marketing activity reports as required  Manage logistics and travel arrangements for international activities as and when required Supporting communications with all International Office contacts  Draft and send marketing emails and communications to international customer relationship management (CRM) contacts, including prospective students, applicants, schools and agents  Being the main point of contact for prospective student enquiries via email, website, social media and online  Regularly review and update international webpages, listings and resources Managing all contacts on the International Office database  Maintain accurate database records for international contacts including schools, agents and prospective students Supporting student admissions  Support admissions processes (eg setting up interviews) and providing administrative support General Administration  Manage the administration processes in support of NUA’s network of international representatives (agents)  Provide administrative support to the recruitment, booking and payment of student ambassadors and temporary staff  Coordinate team finance administration to include invoicing and payments for International activities, expenses and credit card reconciliations  Ensure accurate and current knowledge of the University, course content and other relevant information to guide and advise potential students, parents and advisers  Carrying changing needs of the University may require Norwich University of the Arts Person Specification International Recruitment Administrator Essential  Degree level qualification or equivalent (or evidence of relevant work experience)  Experience of providing effective administrative support in a busy and demanding environment  Experience of managing diaries or events, including scheduling appointments, arranging meetings and organising international travel arrangements  High degree of IT literacy including, proven experience of using client databases/CRM systems  Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication styles for different audiences and contexts   Experience of working in a customer service environment and strong commitment to excellence in customer service  Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team, and to plan, organise and prioritise own workload effectively Desirable  Higher education/international hours of work for professional services staff is 37 hours per week and any additional hours as are necessary for the proper discharge of your duties and responsibilities The hours for this post are 37 per week working 8.45 am to 5.00 pm with an unpaid lunch break Salary This post is on an incremental salary scale The salary for this post is Grade 4, which is from £21,135 to £23,487 per annum It is anticipated that the starting salary will be at the beginning of the salary scale The successful candidate will normally move up the scale points within the Grade on 1st September each year, after completion of the relevant service period Annual Leave There is an annual holiday entitlement of 22 days rising to 25 days after years’ service, plus statutory days In addition, the University may grant or concessionary days leave per year when the University is closed Pension Employees have the benefit of joining an excellent defined benefit pension scheme which builds up a pension on a “Career Average” salary basis to which the University currently contributes an additional 21.1% Interview Expenses If it is necessary for you to travel to the main campus for your interview or a site visit, reasonable travel and incidental expenses will be reimbursed You will need to provide receipts for expenses claimed However, if you are offered the position and decline the offer, expenses may
