2019 TO 2021 Maximum Designated Spaces On Campus DESIGNATION 2019 2021 Staff 720 618 Commuter 647 596 Non-Commuter 1115 1115 Un-Restricted 1370 1244 3853 3575 DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES OF PARKING SPACES STAFF PARKING : The subtraction of 102 spaces was due to the construction of the Latimer STEM building Most of Lot 12 Humanities is no longer available to the university as parking space COMMUTER PARKING: The subtraction of 49 spaces was due to the construction of the Latimer STEM building Most of Lot 12 Humanities is no longer available to the university as parking space NON-COMMUTER PARKING: No changes were made to Non-Commuter parking UN-RESTRICTED PARKING: The subtraction of 126 spaces was due to the re-designation of Lot 14 Heat Plant temporarily to construction equipment and supplies for the Latimer STEM building, and Lot 15 Business Admin from commuter to unrestricted The change to Lot 15 was made to accomodate the loss of parking in Lot 12 Humanities and Lot 14 for Commuters and Non-Commuters due to the construction of the Latimer STEM building SUMMARY: Due to restructuring within the univeristy a recount was conducted to verify the maximum designated spaces in each parking lot A discrepancy of spaces total was found likely due to the re-designations of lots from one category to another over the years, as well as, all of the continuous construction to the East side of campus The maximum designated spaces from the analysis conducted in 2021 will reflect a loss of spaces Stadium -
